Any Primus fans out there? They just released a new album remaking the entire Willy Wonka soundtrack, and it is excellent. The last on track on the album is eerily Pink Floydish. What say you? Whats your favorite album by Les Claypool and Co?
saw them at the Unicorn back in the day with Fishbone (Jo Mama where you at?). Someone stole Les's favorite snow cap and he stopped the show until he retrieved it. Good show outside of the stoppage. At least I think.... those days are a bit blurry.
Great show -- I saw them in Austin though -- got smacked in the face with a mic by the singer from Fishbone when he took an unexpected stage dive.
Awww yeah. Primus sucks. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Y5XeVLJeMdE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

No that was the thing back in the day. "Primus sucks" there were always chants of it. Saw them at eyeball back sometime in the 90's. They were about to play a song they never play and some jackhole through a drink on Les's bass. Pretty much pissed him off, so they didn't play the song.
Saw them a summer or two ago at High Sierra Fest in Northern CA. Not being a huge fan, in my mid 30's, was impressed by the performance, never realized that Claypool was such a visionary. Most of the crowd had a similar "meh" reaction seen here, but it was a nice nostalgic return to the 90's for me... Won't get new album.
The "Primus sucks" chant when they opened for Rush at the Summit was freaking spectacular. As the opening act, they even got to play an encore. Amazing.
