Hopefully Snyder doesn't have the same wizardry over Strong that he did over Mack. We'll most likely lose, but we definitely have a chance. We've absolutely shot ourselves in the foot in several of our losses. Keep those crucial mistakes to a minimum and hope that both the offense and defense both show up.
I think it depends on if last week was a fluke for Swoops. He finally found the running lanes he needed to find. A good scrambling QB can compensate for a lot on the offensive side of the ball.
Swoops seems to have a low football IQ, but he does has a ability to run. All team need play the best to win this game. Who knows? UT may win the game.
Huh? If anything, Swoope's running has been a disappointment, while his decision-making has been on the upswing.
His running has gotten much better but he was pretty awful for most of the season. He's really slow but he can overcome that as long as the play calling is good and he can see where the running lane is. Hopefully that will open up some room in the passing game if the LBs have to play QB Spy.

The UT secondary couldn't stop a nosebleed if they tried. Still too many mistakes on both sides of the ball - penalties, turnovers, bad coverage, poor play-calling.
We didn't deserve to be in this game, but the non-PI call on Shipley in the first half and the spot on the Gray 4th down were beyond terrible calls. Complete game changers.
This team deserves to be booed at the next home game. I can look past having poor players, but the players and coaches do make a lot of mistakes that aren't corrected as the weeks go by. Hopefully, that'll inspire them to do better.
What is your read on Charlie Strong now? Doesn't seem like the 4th quarter against OU was indicative of the future.
