Is he really leaving? I didn't catch the reason for the sadness. What happens to Murphy?
That was real sincere when Calvin said "You helped me feel welcomed back and let me be myself."

I like him too. Just a blue-collar worker. Proven he can play in the NBA. Just wondering why he's the last big off the bench. I hope we can keep him.

    Bev, Canaan
    Harden, Terry, Daniels, Johnson
    Ariza, Paps
    TJones, DMo
    Howard, Black, Dorsey, Capela

Last slot goes down to a choice between Adrien or Cisco. I hope we just pay Cisco, since we have the vet presence in Ariza and Terry already.

Sad thing is, he doesn't even have to try. No one on the roster is coming even close to challenging him for that starting four spot.

I've been getting more and more pessimistic as the preseason goes on about this season. Watching our backups play is utterly depressing. Ish has no business being a backup PG in the NBA, on a "contending" team no less. He's a ballhog, can't shoot, not the best decision maker, and turns it over/gets stuffed all the time. I say throw Canaan into the fire as backup PG. I know he's playing against scrubs but at least he is an offensive threat.

Not optimistic at all about Terry giving us anything this season. Which means Daniels has to figure out how to still make shots when defenses focus on him more. Papanikolau is the one guy I'm optimistic for on the 2nd unit, but it will take months for him to adjust to the NBA. He should be okay by the end of the season.

And my, goodness! DMo is awful. Horrible post defense again this game, letting guys have a free lane to the basket. Horrible on offense, he keeps hoisting these threes even though he's sucked at shooting threes all three years he's been in the NBA. He hasn't gotten any better at all it seems. Still rushing everything, plays real small and gets his shot blocked WAY too much for a 7 footer.

I do like Tarik Black, I feel like he can be like Greg Smith was for us a couple years ago, a decent big guy off the bench that just plays solid. Glad to see him emerge 'cause Dorsey doesn't really have anything.

I hope to god Harden or Howard don't get injured or we might be in danger of missing the playoffs.

I feel the same way. This feels like the Yao/Tmac era all over again. Two superstars (Harden/Howard) one decent role player (Ariza) and a bunch of scrubs. I wonder what Morey is going to do this deadline, we better be able to turn that Pelicans pick into something.

rockets.com should hire those two. Since Jason Friedman went, rockets.com doesn't have a face.

Jones didn't shoot well again and was timid but he had 9pts 8rebs 2asts 4blks 2stls in a so-so game

when the season starts, i'm sure he will be more agressive

I may be mistaken, but I believe Murph will continue to host the pre and post game show. Unfortunately Bill Doleman was one of the employees that was not be retained by Root Sports Houston. Hate to admit it, but I teared up a little bit during tonight's post game show. :(

Clutch, could you get a video of the post game?

It sounded like Calvin was staying but Mr. Doleman was leaving. That's a damn shame. They were a great duo.

I like Beverley. Terrence is a bonehead but he's talented. And Papa has potential. The rest are either total unknowns or scrubs. But we'll see where we are at the deadline.

In those games, Ish played the majority of the minutes early and when he was in the game, the other teams went on runs and created double digit leads. Canaan was the guy in the 4th quarter bringing the games back. He barely got any playing time before the 4th.
