"We barely lost." "We were an onside kick away" What a load of excuses. Also "coach" you were not an onside kick away. You were an inside kick away, a touchdown (while preventing your receivers from fumbling or dropping passes and keeping your QB from turning it over) and an xp away from a tie all in 90 seconds. Just admit it coach, your team is a bunch of losers. Your offense doesn't get third downs or score in the red zone. Your receivers fumble at the worst time. Your RB is losing interest. Your returner is stupid. Your line doesn't block. Your receivers drop passes on third down. Coach your defense doesn't tackle. Your secondary cannot cover deep. Your linebackers are bad. Your #1 pick has as many sacks as Bigtexxx this season. You had 2-3 guys ball watching on the last play of the game. Just face it, your team sucks.
The coaching should be called out though, there's no excuse in the team being this unprepared with 10 days to game plan. Also, after the disaster of giving up 14 points in like 2 minutes, the Texans should have run out the clock and headed into halftime to lick their wounds, instead, they played into the momentum and allowed it to become 21 points in 3 minutes. Also, on one of the TD's why didn't someone call time out when they saw that the Steelers had an unguarded receiver on the outside? This was a total team loss, everyone deserves blame including the coaches.
Yeah, I hear you but what was the FINAL F****** straw tonight for me was seeing them standing there with those stupid ass blank looks on their faces as they pissed away yet another winnable game. That's what LOSERS look like and tonight it fit them to a "T". They laid down and accepted this travesty and for that I have no forgiveness nor understanding. Maybe going postal wouldn't have changed anything but it would have at least shown me that they cared. I'm tired of the fans caring more about winning than these overpaid so-called "professional football players".
It's disappointing because I attributed a lot of this to Kubiak. Unfortunately, BOB isn't the disciplinarian I hoped for. Also, Texans were "an onside kick away" because the Steelers are no where close to good.
Its worse than that. They obviously don't really suck. They simply underachieve. CONSISTENTLY. This is much worse in my mind. If they weren't talented, at least you couldn't fault them for their effort. But this organization with just a few exceptions fails to show up week after week. That is mental weakness and softness. That is a quitters mentality. A losers mentality.
look on the bright side, with shades on, if we lose out and get the 1st pick, we're not going to draft a defensive end! or will we? =)
The Texans sure did well with the #1 pick in this last draft. Clowney has made a major difference. The pressure he put on Luck last week and Roethlisberger tonight was a real game changer.
This is a good team that is making dumb mistakes. Only blowout was to NY. Don't panic and make a QB change. Mallet is just Schaub with a stronger arm, statue with no accuracy. They'll beat up on the Titans on Sunday and be back in the playoff hunt.
You look up incompetence in the dictionary and you see Houston Professional Sports. I don't know if it was you or MadMax who went off on the Alastros in another forum but the same thing that he said then applies now to this so-called "professional football team". Exactly how many years of this s**** are Houston sports fans supposed to swallow? To lose to the Steelers is bad enough but to do it like this is beyond belief. As I said earlier, I haven't been this angry since that 1993 Buffalo playoff game. You can bet the farm that the Cows fans will be snickering to high heaven at the "poor" Houston teams and you know what? They will be right. This team deserves all the ridicule that comes its way.
And then about a quarter into the first game of that we'll start seeing "#BenchMallett" and "#StartSavage". Gotta love the change for the sake of change crowd.
I don't know who's more popular in this town, Mallet or Watt. "The backup qb is the most popular guy in town"
As opposed to the "battlefight" mentality right? Gotta love the "Stay patient" crowd. Its been 13 years with this attitude.
see how unfair it is for houston fans... you have a team up north with such fairweather fans kicking butt right now... why is this city snake bitten? and why do i keep coming back?
