I mean I agree but he is not the reason we are losing. Still can't cover backs out of the backfield, still have stupid penalties at the most inopportune times, still can't hold on to the ball, etc.

This should be Cushing last year as a Texan. He is cut worthy bad at this point. His missed tackle I feel was a big momentum shift. Steelers probably still win but Cushing is not good enough. This team has so many damn needs. QB for the offense and QB for the defense at ILB by far the biggest needs.

kubiak loved those tight ends. B.O.B loves the empty back field. You don't have houston gambler jim kelly at quarterback.

It is the NFL, lots of games are close. The Texans have played to their record. A week ago you had the Texas going 10-6 and had the Steelers pegged as an easy win.

The Texans organization is one with a culture of losing and it will be one hard to change.

This team folds under adversity and is terrible offensively and defensively under pressure.

Fact is they really can't make many mistakes and win. Early in the year they got turnovers, didn't turn it over, played fundamental football, and they won. Now they're making mistakes and they're not good enough to overcome them.

I said they had a shot at 10-6, I've thought this was an 8-8 team from day one. When you are making mental mistakes and having the entire team crap the bed making bad teams like the Steelers look good then you have a lot wrong. It's a matter of figuring things out because they have shown that they can hang with pretty much anyone, but then they shoot themselves in the foot. This game is an easy win if not for how the first half ended.

Bingo. They also need more than Watt getting to the qb. Mercilus has shown up the last two weeks but he's very inconsistent. Reed is a nonfactor. He is literally nonexistent. They need Clowney to be healthy and to be the real deal. If he's not then they're even more screwed personnel wise when it comes to the future.

Oh well I'm used to it, being a fan of Houston sports, I prepare myself for a loss first, if otherwise happens, more power to it. :)

I still get mad, frustrated n what not but not nearly as much as i used to

Your rant reminded of one caller calling into a radio station that had Steve Mckinney on during those crappy Dom Caper years. He was asked "why can't you guys show more emotion on the sideline during these losses, you guys seem to accept being losers". I laughed, Mckinney/Granato/Zerlein gave an appropo reply to the effect of going postal in the sidelines doesn't mean squat.

OB is "supposed" to love TEs too but I don't know why they're not more of a factor. Last year with Kubes, our TEs had 92 receptions and 156 targets. And that's with Owen Daniels missing 11 games. This year, our TEs have 16 catches and 24 targets through 7 games. Delanie Walker had 60 receptions for the Titans last year so I'm not sure it's just Fitzpatrick.

Coach Bob can do all the yelling at the media he wants, but he needs to coach better too. This team looks unprepared a lot. And not to sound like a broken record but him rolling with ****zpatrick was boneheaded.

This team is inept at so many levels. If I consistently performed this way on my jobs in my career I would have been fired multiple times. This is professional sports right? They are getting paid big bucks, right? Incompetence is deeply engrained in this organization. Shameful, embarrassing, humiliating. Unacceptable.
