It's funny how the offense went to crap once the o-line stopped giving Fitzpatrick time. Not that Fitzpatrick is tearing it up. And wtf happened to the linebackers and the secondary?
We are not a quick strike offense. We are not a passing offense. Any success in the passing game is based on playing off of the run game. We cannot throw our way downfield with a minute left when the defense can ignore the run. And we certainly can't do when immediately after pissing away a 13-0 lead. Really dumb decision by OB. I get it, he's probably a little pissed and wants to get some momentum back before the half. But that's a move dumbass fans would do. As HC, he's supposed to be smarter than that.
There is no Fitzpatrick wagon...there never was. I'm not sure you aren't slow and dumb if you haven't been able to figure that out.
So they can ruin their 3rd first round QB in the last 10 years? That would be a typical Bud Adams-type move.

where are tightends? where are the play-action passes after Foster was gashing them early. I dont understand calling empty sets when the QB cant throw down field and the O-Line cant block...
It doesn't matter who the coach is, who the ancillary players are, what city it is. It's fun to pretend, but Houston definitely isn't the only "cursed" city in this way. All that matters, at the end of the day, is QB play. Which could mean a really good QB and few turnovers. A great QB. An average QB with a GREAT team and NO turnovers. The Texans are nowhere close to that. Yes a lot of things went wrong... But the reason the QB takes the blame is because with a great QB that can make plays you are winning by more, or not having to rely on obvious play calling so much. Yes Foster fumbled for example... After getting murdered because good luck calling a pass play there. Point being... Embarrassing? Sure but who cares? Surely no one thought this team was going to the Super Bowl? Guys we need a franchise QB like frankly the city has never had (Apologies Warren...)
If I were a Texan player I would have this very strong urge to stay in the locker room. The ONLY redemption at this point is to win the game. Do you think they know how to do that? So far it is like reliving the collapse in Buffalo. You just don't believe what you are seeing, it doesn't seem possible.
I'll add this. OB was supposed to be the kind of coach who would step in and stop all the stupid boneheaded bull****. It's been a big fail on that part so far. Our players have no freakin' clue what's going on half the time, especially on defense.
They've been bad all year. This team needs a LT, better LB's, better CB's and better safeties. And that's before addressing the problems at QB and the upcoming void at WR/RB once they cut AJ and Foster.
They should have been up 21-3. I was talking to my sister-in-law at the time and we both agreed that they should have had 3 TDs. If they are up 18 points, it's a different ball game for the Steelers.who then HAVE to throw. GOD! I have reached my fill of this *****.
