TAMU has been in the top half of the division every year. They've also beaten teams ranked above them every year. Sumlin's class is just settling in. Not that the previous one was bad. But it usually takes some time. Or you can ignore logic and case studies like the one going on at Mississippi State right now and just count TAMU out. That's how the drunks at Texans tailgates do it.
A&M definitely recruits well, but not so unbelievably well where they're vastly superior to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, etc. Recruits are definitely needed, but A&M's coaching is fairly bad. Good coaches don't ever get beat like that. Ever. A&M has a long way to go before they're competing for titles.

not at all. My life is thriving. I'm quick to call out delusional opinions when I see them, and when somebody foolishly clings to their delusional opinion and insults me, I'll remind them how wrong they are....every time.
When teams aren't getting the top recruits: "Star ratings don't matter" When teams are getting the top recruits: "We have so many 5 stars!"
I haven't been ****ting on A&M in the last couple years but I have to say, you really want to be proud of finishing the top half of a division? That's something to be proud of? It's not for any legit national program. Elevate your standards.
You're thinking I'm satisfied? I'm a realist. Best division I've ever seen in college football right now. It is what it is... we're not in the Big 12 where we can compete for 1st right now. We'll get there. We've done everything we can to try and get there. It takes time. We'll see what happens over the next 2 years.
It was a big game for TAMU. Come out and show the world you have something brewing for next year or take your ball and go home. We took one on the chin today.
There are no LSU or Alabama fans that are listing being in the top half of a conference division as some kind of achievement. I'm not saying you're satisifed but it's absurd that you think listing that as some sort of positive. Congrats. You're not last. The team has a lot of young talented guys. They'll be good soon.
No way. No freaking way Texas A&M would be 1st or competing for 1st in the Big 12 right now, and I would bet money on it.
I meant generally, TAMU would have been in contention right off the bat 2 years ago. In general. Right now I agree, I think TAMU drops 3 games in Big 12 this year. But like I said, this was expected. It's how it works for most programs. LSU anticipated a down year so did TAMU. It is what it is. You just don't want to get caught down for 2-3 years with no improvement, that's when you have problems.
