Its nothing more than a status claim for some people. Contributing is definitely something we all should do, but people badgering people and singling them out to prove something is about as obnoxious as Snooky calling out The Situation for having a weak spray tan. I wouldn't take anything Jopat/BBH says seriously.... If anything its the opposite. I mean we are talking about the guy who preached for 2 years how Derrick Williams is the answer to the Rockets problems. Getting on his (supposed) ignore list is about as high of a complement as you can get.
What if he contributed just to contribute, and doesn't care about the "title" associated with it? You're gonna dog on everyone who doesn't care whether or not they receive "contributing member" status even though they may have contributed out of love for the site?

I've only seen people call people out a handful of times on here about contributing member status, and it just so happens that you've been involved on multiple occasions.
Speaking of Contributor status, how much does one need to contribute financially to get that tag? I donated before and still have not received the membership upgrade. Not being able to edit my posts is annoying as hell.
Well, I think people are getting upset with your "holier than thou" comments. If you want status, good for you. If you don't like someone's comments, put them on ignore.
