I'll put him behind Carr and Teddy B.

Those are the guys he's obviously ahead of, but there's probably at least a couple others as well.

Last week he was ranked #31.

I guess Football Outsiders and Jaws don't buy your QB Rating, YPA, and Completion % argument.

It's a battle you cannot win.

    Geno is playing well tonight.

Question though, would the news that Mallet gets first team reps be public or would any change be revealed on game day?

IMO, this huge 11 day break is perfect for evaluating the QB position.

I'm just being an idealist and am thinking that Mallet can play, but it's highly unlikely.

The Texans brass, idiots that they are, are trying to be competitive instead of trying to see exactly what you've got at the QB position.

Finding out whether Mallet or Savage can be the guy SHOULD be the ONLY goal for this season. Running one of them out there for the last two or three games of the season and then making a decision on them based on that limited information would just be another in the very long list of gaffes this franchise has made.

If you're not playing to win the Superbowl, and we're not, then you're only goal should be about evaluating whether the pieces you have are pieces that will help you when you are. Ryan Fitzpatrick does nothing to reach the goal of eventually fielding a Superbowl contender.

    Idiot owner.

Why do people think the coaching staff can't see what they have in training camp and practice?

We went through this last year when Case was on the bench... And then we got to see Case play.

Fitzpatrick is probably the best we got.

If they suck in practice, they wouldn't be good in games

"He’s really worked hard," O'Brien said. "He’s had a good week of practice this week. He’s got good command out there, both in the huddle and at the line of scrimmage. He’s working to be more consistent on a day to day basis with throwing the ball and accuracy. He’s got a fantastic arm. He’s worked very hard to get better and better at all the different throws that we ask him to make, and he’s definitely where we want him to be. We just need him to keep working to get better. He’s worked very hard. He’s been here early, stayed late. Been a big help on game day on the sideline. "

So he wasn't working hard in New England for the past 3 years...???

O'Brien is probably going to hitch his wagon to Mallet. Our QB for the future is on the roster.

Whose arm noodlier, Schaub or Fitz? Fitz literally looks like he struggles to get it out past 20 yds.

Zero question that Fitz is not the answer, but can we gamble rolling with Mallet now vs Tennessee??

The Texans never changed quarterbacks did they? They pretty much look the same to me. I honestly believe I can throw a football farther than Fitzle.
