If I'm taking Cbud and his $10 million salary over the next two years, nothing short of a 1st (or Rubio) makes me bite.
You're asking the wrong questions. Does Minnesota want to pay $10 million to Bud over the next 2 years? Do they want to pay Rubio over $48 million over the next 4 years? I don't know what we are willing to do, but I think the answer to both questions above is no. If so, they aren't getting much better than what I proposed above.
Isn't there a crappy contract we can eat from PHX??? I would much rather have the Dragon or Baby Lebron.
My dad has an autographed Chase Budinger #10 jersey that he got stuck with at a charity auction a few years back, I wouldn't be surprised if he's floating this via chico. #insider
No. But if Bud does agree to not exercise his 2015 option, Minny could release him and the Rox could sign him to the Bi-Annual Exception for this year for $2.077 million with a player option on next season. And that is the kind of deal that would make a lot of sense for both sides if it included Rubio coming here. However...............if Budinger is either bought out and signed here or traded here....it likely means Kostas heading to Minny as part of a deal for Rubio.
Worst case scenario we've got enough second rounders to be able to trade Chase away and remove that 2015-16 $5 million salary if we need the cap space to sign a big name.
Common guys. Morey is slowly bringing back former rockets players to trick Dragic into coming back too.
immmmmmm if we can't get another playmaker with harden maybe morey is thinking harden ariza/pop pop/ariza ? howard "bench" bev troy/terry bud dmo drossy
If Bud is a part of a bigger deal (to get Rubio..) then I can see something like that... but giving up a couple 2nds for a 1 yr rental on Bud doesn't seem advantageous... the 1st we gave up to move Lin's contract still stings...lol..
Can never have enough shooters. Not sure I like that contract, but he's a good shooter. He's better than Garcia and probably at this point as good if not better than KPap. Just not worth that contract. Yuck.
