You're right, but I do enjoy a good take John Wall to the shed and dunk video.

    Here we go!

I wish the best for Lin, but I have little doubt Laker fans will be way more critical of his play than Rockets fans were.

A few weeks of his mind numbing turnovers and Kobe will bury him in his backyard. It's hilarious (although not surprising) that the LOFs don't see how bad that is going to end.

I highly doubt that. I am a Knicks fan also and they weren't nearly as critical as people on here are. Not nearly as many racial jokes there either.

So true.. a ton of closet racists around these woods.

FYI, I live in NY too and Asians get treated much better here.

Basically, too many racists with having too much time on their hands with no life and nothing better to do, resulting in LOHating-mania.

Right so for an Asian NBA player to not get hate, he just has to be the best at his position for a few years. Gotcha.

Lin is a mediocre basketball player nothing more

Criticism is based on basketball not race

What Lin fans don't get is people hate on Jeremy as an extension of their hatred for his crazy fans. Its not very mature but that is how humans are. If Lin didn't come with a horde of crazy fans then I really doubt it would have gotten this bad.

Do you hate all mediocre NBA players? I thought so..

Why so passionate about Lin? Because he has fans? Why does it bother you that a mediocre player has fans? It's none of your business.

Brian Scalabrine was a fan favorite, Mark Madsen was adored by Laker fans. Neither were the most talented. I've never seen similar disapproval for them being liked or having fans.

I guess you gotta be Yao Ming, best NBA Center, to get respect in the NBA from fans, teammates, players alike. (please refer: JR Smith, Steven A Smith, etc comments during Linsanity)

Yao got similar treatment here, not as severe and not as many dedicated haters as the time went on but don't pretend like it was all sunny.

I'm a basketballl fan first, NBA fan second.

I'm a fan of the Houston Rockets, I like certain players, Tmac, Yao, Rose, Irving, Tony Parker, Lin, Curry, I loved Wade in his prime. I just like certain players.

I'm definitely not a Lin Only Fan. But being a fan of Lin is synonymous with being a LOF around here.

Being asian is also synonymous with being an LOF. Think about that for a second, if that's not racist...

It's none of your business too if I call out fans who say Lin was marginalized by the rockets because of non basketball reasons
