Would love to have Horford, but with that said it's hard to be a leader if you don't play. His health is S-C-A-R-Y.

Isn't that more because most of the available good (or high upside, or whatever) players are PGs? It didn't seem like Horford was on the market thus no rumors.

His injury history comprises of two torn pec muscles. That is much more managable than leg, foot or back problems.

I think some of the issue is that he is being asked to play center full-time, which isn't his natural position. This could have incentivized him to "bulk up" beyond his physical constraints in order to be able to handle the demands of playing in the paint.

he had one bad year (which ironically was still better than duncan does, better let pop know that doesn't work), mainly because defenses were keying him, even on mid rangers because well, the other alternative was josh smith and no defense is keying those jumpers so he couldn't really get to his spots, when he has more freedom (such as the current coaches spread, or joe johnson to attract attention, 50% was quite achievable for him), he's also adaptable, changing to a heavier jump shot or paint game depending on team needs while maintaining extremely high efficiency (which is helped by the fact lebron is the only player more automatic at the rim)

They had terrible floor spacing under Woodson. He had no room to work with.

    LOL

We can explain away anything. But numbers don't lie. Lets say there's a perfect basketball universe and he shoots 50% on long 2 jumpers. Guess what? A 3 point shooter only has to shoot 33.3% from 3 to match that perfect setting which does not exist on the basketball court.

Cyber, why did morey over pay for kostas ? Why does McHale think kostas has play making ability ? Caspi is faster than him. I would prefer Garcia over him

Only 8 teams shot fewer 10 to 22 footers than the Spurs last year. Pops already knows. There's a reason he's the best coach in the league.

Lol so basketballholic doesn't like Horford but he loves Cody Zeller. This dude is such a clown. Based on your argument maybe we should get rid of dwight and get a 30% 3 point shooter to take his place.
