Or, since Pham looks like she was careful, maybe they abstained for a while as soon as they knew what Duncan had. Also, if they didn't have sex after she presented a fever, they are probably fine as well. But yeah, he's gotta be at risk.
It's amazing how much micromanagement is needed in this Dallas hospital. As people have said, some of this stuff is common sense.
A Democratic group has been running a commercial blaming Republican cuts for Ebola (they increased the CDC's budget). As if funding is the reason the CDC couldn't handle one patient. You would think there was no sex once they realized she was caring for an Ebola patient. From the guy's perspective, there is no woman in the world attractive enough to make me want to take that chance. On the other hand from her perspective, after seeing everything she did, a little human contact and comfort would be sorely needed. Regardless, hopefully there's nothing to this. It seems like a fast incubation period for it to be a real issue, but who knows.

Well I don't doubt that you saw or heard the theory somewhere if you say you did. You don't have a track record of being a liar. Perhaps that article was up/mentioned on air and they realized it wasn't true and took it down.
Yep. Makes a lot of sense to me.. (ie sarcasm) I think someone else mentioned this too in a earlier post but the pictures really highlight the issue to me.
to be fair, we dont know how true this is.. although it sure sounds like thats whats happening .. but surely the cdc properly trained the hospital on what to wear.. and provided them with the proper equipment
On another note, why are they moving one patient to Emory but not the other? I would think you'd want to move both - both to provide the best patient care and to help limit the number of people being at-risk or potentially exposed. Obviously, this is hindsight, but given that there are 3 (?) hospitals in the US that specialize in this type of thing, I would think any patient should be transferred to one of those as long as we're talking about small single-digit numbers of patients.
