    What I am liking thus far from this Rockets team is, finally the D is back! The team D will be vastly improved over last year and that will get this team to become a serious contender for the Championship.

    Offensively it's still debatable how much we actually lose with Lin and Parsons leaving. Last year's stats seem to suggest their losses aren't that important for the offense. When Harden was off the court, the Rockets offense with Lin was 1.03ppp(points per possession). With Parsons 1.04ppp. Without both Harden and Lin was 1.07ppp. Without both Harden and Parsons was 1.06ppp. As a baseline, Rockets overall was 1.11ppp.

    To put it more simply, the Rockets offense was basically Harden >> everyone else last year. Lin and Parsons couldn't really make the offense run when Harden was out. I doubt Canaan or Terry or Ariza can either, but we're not losing that much.

    Obviously Black isn't great but he's been much more active than Dorsey and he had a head start which matters. Pressure's on Dorsey in these next few games.

    That game was intense!!! I was at the Griz game amd actually found myself bored. This game had me on my toes especially at the end. Loved Troy D and Black stepping up.

    Both are minimum guys. Dorsey is guaranteed, possibly for both years. But it would be a very small difference.
