The acquisition of the Bease doesn't strike me as one we desperately needed. I wonder how he factors into this offseason.

The goalkeeper situation for next season is going to be very interesting if Tally Hall gets back healthy and returns to his form from what he used to be in 2012 and 2013. Tyler Deric is ready to be a starting goalkeeper. I think other teams in MLS are willing to make some trade offers to either Deric or Hall.
Seriously, Bruin seems like he shouldn't be anywhere near starting for an MLS team. All of his goals look like they happen by mistake and you can't really say he ever makes a "run."
Why can't we keep both? Sometimes I don't understand why you want to break up a team, instead of just adding more talent. Is nobody going to discuss getting better forwards who can actually finish a play? For what it's worth: Houston has the longest-tenured coach, but it's not his fault. His philosophy remains the same.
New coach please? As my first season as a Dynamo follower, sucks that we couldn't make it to the playoffs (especially since my pay would be increased if they did), but I had fun following the team. Players that I think we should keep for potential or skill: Giles Barnes, AJ Cochran, Ricardo Clark and Brad Davis. Everyone else can leave.
Im not trading hall for anything, Deric made a few amazing saves but was also out of position and totally lost on way too many occasions for me to be willing to hand him the job.
I don't exactly know what his "cap figure" is or salary, but I'm sure it's too high for how he's been playing lately. Pay a position player that money he's making instead.
That's what I saw in the games I watched. He's terrible on crosses and anticipating the play. Kind of Derek Jeter-like. Yes, he makes the diving play...because he totally misread the play from the start. Goalies need to be Adam Everett. Know where the ball is going before it happens so that you don't have to make the diving play.

Since Dominic Kinnear is returning to San Jose, that means the Dynamo should get something in return or compensation because Kinnear's contract has one year left (2015 season). I don't know how much money the Earthquakes will be giving the Dynamo. Just hope it's a good amount.
WOW. Longest-tenured coach... pushed out. He had a few more years. But... yeah, if he's making it personal, just let him go. I know his Scot self wanted to remain in Califas. Thanks for 8 awesome years of FUTBOL goodness for the Orange, Dom.
The main(or in my case best) part about Kinnear leaving is that now the Dynamo will hire a TDirector/Sporting Director/GM to handle player acquisition and all that good stuff (Since Canetti is dealing with the business side of things now). Kinnear was in charge of that stuff after Canetti stepped into Olvier Luck's position and to be a coach/GM in this league is not something most can do. Bruce Arena and Peter Vermes have shown to be solid at that role, DKinnear showed he can't and should never wear both hats. Now he is off to SJose where they already have someone as a GM so all Kinnear has to do is coach. Gonna be interesting to see who the Dynamo hire as GM/Technical director and who he decides to bring on as coach.
I'd like to a see coach install a new style of play. Dom made us competitive and successful, but there was something so frustrating about the team's habit of making late-season pushes for the playoffs after months of listless play.
Well, it's hard to expect that AEG is going to open up the pocketbook for any name for either role. Hopefully, the hires will be able to recognize the deficiencies (lack of a true forward, lack of a central defense) and get AEG to spend a little more. Frankly, I'd be fine with a total tear down...and that includes Davis.

That team would be owned and operated with by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, which are the Rockets D-League team." said Canetti. "They would get a state of the art soccer specific stadium built down there in the valley for our team. We would control 100% of the soccer side of the business-the coaching staff, the trainers and the players. We would loan some of our first team and reserve players there as needed. It would be a very similar setup to what you see in other minor league sports." The team will be reserving the right to put the team in Houston if they choose.
