    Hey who has this?
I have been reading they switched over to cloud dvr in houston now, and sounds kinda like it has slingbox type feel to it. I was wondering if this is true, and if it works. I have cousin who has comcast and if it works like a slingbox i want to upgrade him to the x1 and use it at my home like a slingbox.

Cloud DVR basically allows you to stream anything recorded to your DVR to any device. In that aspect, it's very much like a Slingbox. But it only streams Live TV over in home wifi.

I've had it since June. Glitchy at first but seems better now. Lots of cool features.

None of it makes up for the fact that the X1 REMOTE DOESNT HAVE A CHANGE INPUT BUTTON!

Ok that answers the question. I wanted to watch his live tv from my house.

Honestly, I don't see the need to upgrade. It does the same stuff for the most part. It does record and let me watch quite a few shows at the same time. There is a 9.99 fee per month for an anyroom DVR fee.

It does let you record through the website now but not sure if you could do that before. I have noticed it can be a bit laggy at times though.
