Harden is 25 and is arguably in athletic prime. With Parsons 14 shots per game out the window I think Harden will take a lot of those looks. I am expecting Harden to average around 27.5 ppg this year.
25-26. If he is taking more shots than last season, we are in trouble so unless his efficiency goes up (and I doubt that can happen) he will give similar stats as last year.
This. I hope everyone is voting 27-28 at least cause Harden looking prepared for a monster season. His 1-on-1 footwork he's displaying on those midrange J's and 3's are homed in tight! Straight nasty! Last's night on Courtney Lee in particular.
28-30. Parsons took 14 shots, no way Ariza takes more than 11-12. Those extra shots plus some of Lin's should help him get there 28.5 / 6 / 5 for Harden this year
If Harden really wanted to, he could compete with Durant for the scoring title and average around 30 a game. He is that good offensively. But I don't think he is that type of player. He would gladly average 23 and 9 if he could. I think this season, he is going to have to be a scorer and score a lot. I think he is going to be electric this season. 27ppg, 7apg 5rpg. I agree James looks great and could easily lead the League in a vacuum. But Dwight's going to have a huge year, plenty of looks down low....And this, most likely isn't the line up the Rockets will run with all season. There should be at least one other to cut into that avg. It's about the title ......
I'm hoping for a 28 7 and 5 season on 48/40/90 from the field. These are his avgs from the last 30 games after allstar last season. If he can sustain that type of play with the rockets winning 55+ games harden will be holding that mvp trophy up at the end of the season and Hopfully a finals appearance. I think this is the season that the national media starts to really appreciate and respect his skills. He's the 3rd best player in the game, Imo by a long shot. To me a dynamic scorer and passer like harden is just so much more valuable than a player like cp3 or even a great scorer like carmelo. The guys big also he has the whole package, I know I'm going to get flamed for this but he's the closet think to lebron we have in the game. They play the exact same way and I hope our rockets fans can come to appreciate his craft because we truely have a player who could end up in the HoF and top 5 at his position all time. I think the rockets make the finals this yr, harden will prove to be on the same level as KD and Bron this yr and dwight will be dwight from postseason. If everyone else plays defense, rebounds and gets rugged, this team won't be beatable by May. It all starts with the beard he has all time talent and plays the game the right way (offensively at least lol) this is his 6th yr and 3rd as the man he'll elevate his game to new highs this seaon on both ends and it will be bigger for the team than any free agent acquisition.
