    We all realize Fitz is not a great QB. At best, he's average. Probably closer to the bottom-middle. But Mallett isn't our answer.

    This defense was doomed from the offseason. Bad defensive linemen outside of watt with the hope that a 350 lb nose tackle with knee problems could make any kind of difference. Unproven OLB who tore his knee by landing on his foot. Out of position LBs and a makeshift secondary.

    In all likelihood I agree. But I have zero illusions about what this team is. So I wouldn't mind taking a look. I don't see what the cost is, really.
