After just two preseason games I am convinced:

    Better defensive player

    Same or better on offense

    Cheaper and more experienced

Parsons only younger and better looks

Minus for Parsons for going to Dallas

What really is interesting, this same Ariza was garbage 5 years ago, tremendous improvement

me too, im also convinced howard is the worst center of all time. 1-6, 6 fouls, 0 blocks. boooooo

in hindsight we should've got villanueva. 13pts, 3-63pters. what dmo should be doing

I just wish he were better looking.

Where are those clothing deals? Where is this team headed?

Only concern I have is Parsons did a good job of creating on offense when Harden was getting a breather.

Ariza, on the other hand, really should not be handling the ball. Parsons wasn't some incredible offensive player, but he was more versatile.

He set the tone tonight with his defense in the 1st quarter and his teammates followed suit with great effort.

How can this be knee-jerking when Clutch already said the same thing after game 1 in his "knee-jerk" article?

More like copy cat, knee jerking

we knew going in that he would be way better on defense, he would be a plus for experience and leadership, but he can't create offense the way chandler can off the dribble or through passing.

same at spot up shooting. overall pretty equal but an offense for defense trade. good value for half the price.

Chandler created offense off the dribble for others never for himself. You never saw parsons get the ball in an iso situation and dribble the ball a couple times and pull up or drive to the hole. Parsons scored two way, spot up shooting and slashing. When Harden and Lin weren't on the floor at parsons had to be the creator we wouldn't score for 3 and 4 minutes. It's way too early but from what I've seen SO FAR I agree 100%. Matter of fact with bev and ariza on the floor together the entire d looks different but like you said it is PRE-SEASON so we'll see

The first time around most thought Ariza was a star in the making. He is not a star so fan frustration hit an all time high with him. This time around we are looking for 3&D ---> that is who he is. Nice fit at a nice price win, win. Same player better role.

he knows how to be a role player, he proved that in LA and Washington. I think he's going to be solid all season on defense, slashing and spotting up now that he knows he's not the second coming of Tmac

The Last time Ariza came here he was thought to be the first option. He was Tmac's replacement. He is now playing his role which is exactly what he was supposed to be doing in the first place. Third option. he is exactly what we needed on this team. Vet experience and can compliment Harden and Howard.
