Mix between roster needs and fit. We tend to activate as many DL as possible and therefore a WR is needed to be inactive to make the numbers work. Martin and Damaris are better slot fits than DeVier is, although if we continue to struggle at connecting on explosive plays than Posey needs to play.

 

I'm thinking if it's on the field the players may not notice it much if at all (may be no different than having something painted on the field to them)... The Texans probably had to run this by the NFL anyway. Or maybe they won't have it on during play on the field. Also, the visual effect may be more for people watching on TV than the people at the stadium.

We'll find out in a few...
