http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-peterson-relationship-with-vikings-is-severed/ar-BB8fetC Report: Peterson relationship with Vikings is 'severed' This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering all the well publicized questions surrounding running back Adrian Peterson. According to ESPN’s John Clayton, the relationship between Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings is “severed” and the expectation now is that Peterson will be released even if the case is resolved. This information comes from Nick Mensio over at Rotoworld: Peterson’s child abuse trial is set for December 1st. He made his first court appearance on Wednesday in Conroe, Texas. And despite not entering a plea, his lawyer did indicate that they will eventually enter a not guilty plea in the case. In terms of the finances of Peterson’s contract, Minnesota can release him this upcoming offseason without receiving a cap hit. He signed a six-year, $86.3 million contract with $36 million guaranteed (all of which has been paid out) back in 2011.
And then I'll have to pick a new team to follow until he retires, kills one of his kids, or ends up with HIV after taking his oldest kid to some orgy on a charity's dime.
Welp... http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11670621/adrian-peterson-minnesota-vikings-ordered-arrested-pot-admission
FOX Houston reports Adrian Peterson is facing arrest after violating the terms of his bond by "(smoking) a little weed." According to court records, Peterson admitted to his mar1juana consumption before taking a Wednesday drug test. It's a staggering lack of awareness from a player not only battling the court of law, but the court of public opinion. It's unclear if this will affect Peterson's tentative December 1 trial date. -------------- SMH....!!!!
Seriously who would walk into a urinalysis test and straight up tell whoever was administering the test that you "smoked a little weed"? Idiot.
Apparently Adrian Peterson would.... I just think it's hilarious how he didn't know there was a possibility he could be drug tested considering he's on bond. The courts may not always drug test people who are on bond but considering his stature and the fact this is Texas _ he and or his attorney should have saw it coming. "Do you get high while disciplining your kids..???" This is turning into a slam dunk case for the D.A.
Peterson went from a classy player in the NFL, a real role model, to a child beating, family orgy loving, drug using monster. Damn.
Writ issued this afternoon for Peterson's arrest: <p style=" margin: 12px auto 6px auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,Sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; -x-system-font: none; display: block;"> <a title="View Adrian Peterson Bond Motion on Scribd" href="http://www.scribd.com/doc/242441952" style="text-decoration: underline;" >Adrian Peterson Bond Motion</a></p><iframe class="scribd_iframe_embed" src="https://www.scribd.com/embeds/242441952/content?start_page=1&view_mode=scroll&show_recommendations=true" data-auto-height="false" data-aspect-ratio="undefined" scrolling="no" id="doc_4690" width="100%" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe>
