People have been very pessimistic about the Texans this year. I think most have forgot that we still have the number one pick from this years draft.

Kiper/McShay thought he would be an immediate 10-15 plus sacks in his first year.

That is a major prediction, but you see the same qualities that you see in Watt.

Good deal. I've only ever paid for tickets in a group, and I think we were paying $125 per for seats a couple sections up and behind the goal line. So I thought (nearly) midfield seats 5 rows up for $195 seemed like a great deal in comparison.

Midcourt seats 5 rows up for the Rockets tend to cost around and over $300-$400 so it seemed like an obscenely good deal to me. Maybe it was just an OK deal - but I'll still take it. Hadn't been to a game this year. I pray it's not a blowout.

I can't really get a feel on this game.

HUGE game, at home and on national TV. I feel like we should win, but this is the exact type of game we seem to always lose.

    colts - 20
    Texans - 13

Well you just noted that Rocket games are over priced. Which is certainly the case.

Pancakes is on the Rich Eisen Show, his choice for mvp is Rivers, he likes Fitzy, Mallet wont play because he sucks. Fitzy, Savage and a first round pick will be the qbs next year, he says the Colts will win the division but the Texans pull off the upset tonight.

I tend to agree with Eisen here.

As far as Mallet is concerned, he wont see the field unless there is an injury to Fitz or we're out of the playoff race.

Imagine the decent mobility that Fitz has shown...those would be sacks with Mallet in the game. Plus, Mallet just isnt very good, even compared to Fitz. BOB continues to give absolutely no inkling of hope for those thinking that Fitz will be benched.

Except for the report by Schefter week one claiming we won't hesitate to go to Mallet

Thanks for that! I guess I never realized how bad he really was until I read that.

Sure, you have to sift through meaningless bits of information such as "School Records" and "First Round Talent", but when you finally reach the Professional career section you really get a sense of what a bum he is. I especially enjoyed the part about him playing in those preseason games....really informative.

Welp....Let's go ahead and cut him.

The biggest non-playoff gm the Texans have ever won was probably the 2012 Bears game

Is the game only on NFL network, or is it on a regular network too (CBS), like channel 11 in Houston?
