Stafford has this weird trend that he plays excellent after he plays like garbage. So since he was bad last week... it's something to consider.
I need 3 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, and 1 FLEX from any of those positions WRS -Dez Bryant @Sea -Mike Wallace vs GB -Reggie Wayne @Hou -Eric Decker vs Den -Brian Quick vs SF -Torrey Smith @TB RBS -Justin Forsett @TB -Ben Tate vs Pit -Alfred Morris @Ari -Chris Ivory vs DEN -Darren Sproles vs NyG TEs -Rob Gronkowski @Buf -Larry Donnel @Phi FLEX 1 from any list above
That's the best fantasy football feeling in the world. When the Fantasy Gods look down and smile on your team.
Considering making an offer for Le'Veon Bell. I know he's top 3 RB right now but I think I have the depth to make a solid 3 for 1 pitch. QB Russell Wilson, Sea QB RB Fred Jackson, Buf RB Q RB Justin Forsett, Bal RB WR A.J. Green, Cin WR WR Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR TE Niles Paul, Wsh TE FLEX Frank Gore, SF RB D/ST Titans D/ST D/ST K Matt Prater, Den K Bench Jimmy Graham, NO TE Q Bench Ben Tate, Cle RB Bench Cam Newton, Car QB Bench Terrance Williams, Dal WR Bench Carlos Hyde, SF RB Bench Matt Asiata, Min RB Bench Eagles D/ST Thinking of offering any two of my RBs plus Terrance Williams to the other team for Bell. Here's his team: (he's currently 1-4) QB Drew Brees, NO QB RB Jamaal Charles, KC RB RB Le'Veon Bell, Pit RB WR Roddy White, Atl WR WR Wes Welker, Den WR TE Antonio Gates, SD TE FLEX Delanie Walker, Ten TE P D/ST Cardinals D/ST D/ST K Justin Tucker, Bal K Bench Marques Colston, NO WR Bench Steven Jackson, Atl RB Bench Darren Sproles, Phi RB Bench Anquan Boldin, SF WR Bench Roy Helu, Wsh RB Bench Owen Daniels, Bal TE Bench Raiders D/ST Any thoughts on making such a trade? Would it be fair? Thanks.
Pick 2 Vincent Jackson vs BAL Brian Quick vs SF Julian Edelman @ BUF Malcom Floyd @ OAK _________ Pick 1 Roddy White vs CHI Julian Edelman @ BUF
He won't make that trade. He already has Colston on his bench, and Colston is in the same tier as Terrance Williams so Williams would be of little use to him. So then it becomes Gore/B.Tate for his L.Bell. Let's say that instead of Delanie Walker, he starts Steven Jackson at flex. L.Bell/S.Jackson is better than Gore/B.Tate.
Uhh. Terrance Williams and Colston might be on the same "tier" but Williams has caught 5 TDs this season already and Colston has 1. I'd start Williams over Colston easily. And over Roddy White too. I'm giving him three potential starters averaging about 12 points in our .5 ppr league for 1 stud averaging about 18 points. It's closer to me than you think.
Without Calvin, I'd have to strongly consider Kaep. BUT....San Fran for some reason, has recently struggled with St.Louis. But indoors, I'd lean slightly Kaep.
I'm not too high on Edelman this week, but since White guaranteed a TD this past Sunday (and did not deliver) I have reason not to trust him lol
Someone offered me Brandon Marshall for Lamar Miller and either Michael Crabtree or Michael Flloyd. No brainer - accept before he changes his mind? My other backs are Forte, Leveon Bell, Ryan Mathews, and Doug Martin. My other receiver is Maclin.
Terrance Williams has more TDs than Dez Bryant. Maybe you should try to trade Williams straight up for Dez? Despite having one game where he wasn't targeted at all, Colston is still averaging more targets per game than Terrance Williams. Most people wouldn't. And that's why I doubt your trade offer gets accepted. Terrance Williams has 3 games where he only caught 2 passes. Do you think you can consistently count on him for 12 fpts/game? Ben Tate is an injury prone player who just came back from an injury. Do you really think you can count on him to consistently give you 12 fpts a game?
That's how I've always looked at it too, but I think most of us are way too invested in this buy low sell high concept. Like at what point will we accept that a player like Terrance Williams is more valuable or will we keep just saying "this player can't keep this up and this other player will pick it back up." Because I have a bunch of players who are supposed to get good, and I am getting obliterated every week.
Got offered knile davis for Trent Richardson. Knile is definitely the better back if he plays but should I pull the trigger with Charles back?
