Is it supposed to be surprising that a young big would have foul trouble early in his career? He got better last year and was really good tonight. You have to re-evaluate labels as new information becomes available.

McHale needs to play to his strengths and get him on the post...as a backup C when DHo rests.

Give the guy some touches in his areas of expertise.

I completely agree. He needs to be the backup 5 instead of having to play the 4 and try spacing the floor for Howard. I think that is the best role for him and one he can be very productive in.

Alright fine, he has one consistent move. No counter moves, nothing else

Sorry, you're just wrong. He has multiple moves, and they can beat most players in the league, his issue is occasionally rushing them which throws off his finishing.

You must have never played in the post if you think DMo only has one move.

Agree with this. I also want him as backup C because I think Adrian can contribute as backup PF.

We need DMo on the 2nd unit 'cause it ain't the best on offense.

Let's pretend he does only have one move.

Dmo is by far the best post player on the team. It's not even close.

So really it doesn't matter how many moves he has. He's the best we got in the post. Post him up.

Yes I completely agree. Dmo is on his way to the rotation. I was definitely not very impressed with tjones.

Best part of this is he didn't shoot 3's today. And most likely he would improve his FT because he's right from FIBA competition where FT's are closer to the basket.

actually fiba's free throw line is slightly further out than the nba (3 cm! lol), but hey normalus, are you just a lithuanian that follows the nba or do you work for the national organisation?

Nah, I'm just a software engineer student with a hobby like most of you. Maybe in couple of years I will move to Houston tho.

Yeah, it looks like he isn't as easily pushed out of having good positioning in the post. I really luis game if can slow down some and just take what the D gives him. His 3 isn't a viable threat yet, though I think he will continue to develop it. But I really like the idea of him shooting from the elbow and roaming the paint for easy buckets and having a good passer out of the middle.

Big difference from last year. We are using his strengths instead of making him the stretch p***y 4. Nice hook shot, he actually takes his time now with confidence. Impressive!

Yeah, he doesn't fumble and get pushed around that easy. He can finish better with contact.
