Your logical fallacy is STRAWMAN. You misrepresented someone's argument to make it easier to attack. By exaggerating, misrepresenting, or completely fabrication someone's argument, it's much easier to present your own position as being reasonable but this kind of dishonesty serves to undermine honest rational debate.
It was a joke man. Every player in the NBA could look better if the team catered to them and didn't marginalize them.
Has there ever been a former Rockets player this criticized? I think he'll have a decent year because it's a contract year, followed by some people saying we shouldn't have traded him. My question to ya'll is, if you never had expectations of him in the first place, would you still be disappointed with his stint here? I had friends who thought it was a great signing at the time and I told them I thought he was overrated. Therefore, I didn't think much of him coming in, but I guess the majority of you guys thought otherwise and that's why this thread is huge.
TMac was criticized pretty heavily. Of course, Lin's career is nowhere near over. I'll be the first to say that we shouldn't have traded Lin. Until we have a (relatively) consistent scoring/facilitating option off the bench, I'm inclined to believe we'll miss Lin dearly. As to your question, you only have to remember that Lin wouldn't have his contract if he didn't have Linsanity and thus no expectations. If he was retained rather than cut during his first stint with us, we'd be thrilled with this kind of production from a minimum salary player. In fact he'd probably still be on the roster.
Lin looks great in open court. Lakers offense in general just look like utter **** in half court. I think its better to stick Lin with a bunch of scrubs. With Kobe on the floor it'll just be iso-Kobe. With Lin, two shooters, Randle, and that garbage ass scrub Sacre he'll fit a lot better.
I think Ed Davis will likely get plenty of minutes for this Lakers team. He looks active out there. After a couple of ordinary seasons in Memphis, we'll finally see Special Ed.
whos this clarkson kid, hes shooting so recklessly , i would like to see him doing that in a real game tho
