hmm.. well.. fitz is really bad. and it will be very difficult for mallett to be any worse. additionally, BOB has fitz on a leash, so it's not like the offense will be too complicated for mallett.
It really wouldn't though, basically you are telling me that you don't base it on anything at all, you just want something different, anything different. We're talking about a Ryan Mallett that isn't even good in pre-season against bench guys and players that don't make NFL rosters.
this is based on fitzpatrick's performance and who the texans have for QB2. if it was orton, i would be calling for orton. the bottomline is a step below fitzpatrick is geno smith, and i doubt mallett will go that way.
So you base someone else's talent off of Fitz's talent.....that's an interesting way of doing things.
people want change excuse of how I inept the offense is. mallet is the backup so people calling for change. you can't deny that mallet has a stronger arm than Fitzpatrick. the accuracy is yet to be proven. fans getting frustrated in this inept offense

the offense isn't inept because of Fitz. It's inept because BOB makes it that way. He'd rather have his defense on the field rather than his offense.

To a certain extent, Fitz has been hanging on by very mediocre play that just hasnt been quite bad enough for O'B to say thats it im going with my guy.
hah, noone knows how mallett will do. clearly i base the need for qb change off the fact that fitz is talentless. if mallett flops, throw fitz back in. we worried about shattering his confidence?
