Tombstone - 8/10 by far one of the best westerns of the past 25 years

Serenity - 7/10 it was good but I enjoyed the Firefly series more.

Battlestar Galactica - 8/10 was about 10 episodes in when Netflix dropped it. Hope they bring it back soon.

    22 Jump Street - 8.5/10

Better than the first one, IMO. I love some good self aware humor, and this one had me dying. Hilarious movie.

what can I say? just another bateman movie I really liked and another bateman movie the critics are bashing. surprisingly, it's adam's character I liked the most. I surely thought if any from the cast of "girls" was going to blow up it would be Marnie or shoshanna not adam. dude is everywhere.

Jodorowsky's Dune - 8/10 Really interesting, and funny. Very interesting and I had no idea about this at all.

You should watch his latest film Dance of Reality. One of the best films I've ever seen.

Insidious. It's a pretty good horror film, but it doesn't live up to the hype. Then again, how could it?

They mentioned that film in the documentary. I will have to check it out. I'm sure it has to be interesting.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

    Annabelle - 3/10

Got dragged to it by some friends. Every bit as bad as I expected. Pure jump scares and nothing else. The only thing I liked is there were some minor callbacks to The Conjuring which was kind of cool.

Transformers IV - 4/10, A bunch of action mixed with horrible acting plus no super hot chick either. Meh. Stanley Tucci's biggest film career regret I'm sure.

You should watch The Conjuring or You're Next. Two of the best "mainstream" horror films the past 2 years.

    Both of these are great!

I would also throw Sinister, VHS and VHS 2, Cabin in the Woods, and Evil Dead as recent ones I'd recommend.

    The Usual Suspects

One of those movies I've been meaning to see for about 10 years. Finally had a few hours to myself on Saturday night so I figured I'd give it a shot. Very good (as everyone else already knows).

I wanted to watch Anabelle but the way she acted on haunted house 2 killed it.

Gross Pointe Blank - 8 out of 10. Surprised I had missed this one for so long since I am a big John Cusack fan. Funny, especially at the end. Minnie Driver looked really good in this one too.

Alien - 9 out of 10. Seen this one lots of times and it always looks good. I must like curly brunettes since Sigourney Weaver looked great in this one... especially the scene in the shuttle, getting into her space suit.

Belle - 7 out of 10. OK, this one wasn't my choice, but a very good movie nonetheless. My wife and daughters cried... so I guess it was a good movie.

Three Days to Kill - 5 out of 10. Amber Heard raised this to a 5.

I thought this movie was well done but I don't normally enjoy documentary let alone animal planet lite. It's pretty alarming in the Glacier episode that the polar bears are dieing off but are still masturbating at an enormous rate.
