Awesome!! We might to Red Rock tomorrow since we land at 7am and probably can't check in out at Lake Las Vegas until early afternoon. Then do The Valley of Fire Saturday morning since we'll be somewhat closer to it. Don't hit the Strip until Sunday morning. My wife is awesome...letting me make her wake up early so we can get to the strip by kick-off.
thinking about heading out to Vegas next Feb for my birthday if you have any codes. Also, if anyone has any recommendations on where to stay. I'm looking to fly out of Houston on Monday Feb 9 and stay the whole week until Friday Feb 13.
If you get tired of Vegas...try driving up to Utah and check out Zion N.P. and Bryce Canyon. Definitely worth the detour (assuming the weather cooperates).
Last time I went was back in 2011. Stayed at what was then called Planet Hollywood Westgate Tower (right next to PH) I think the hotel has changed over to Hilton Grand Vacations - Elara.

Lol yeah actually thinking about going the weekend before my birthday like from Sat Feb 7 up until Wed Feb 11. Still 5 days and 4 nights though.
We will probably never stay anywhere other than the Venetian or Palazzo. That place is awesome. I ended up not gambling (well, not table games) until the very end of the trip and might not even do it next time. Never thought I'd feel that way and still want to go. We just love it there.
the best part about palazzo is grand lux. I know there is one in Houston and Dallas, but the one in Vegas was the first one I ever went to at 4am, and it was awesome!! The shopps at Palazzo are pretty legit too.
Going for a buddy's 21st birthday. Flying to LA, picking up a fellow clutchfanner from USC, then roadtripping for the weekend in Vegas. Please advice! Also, I'm evacuating Katy, so I think I'll be okay.
