Yes, your belief that Clowney's body can't handle the NFL is a lot more convincing than what he said happened. Do you have a newsletter that I can subscribe to?

    Interesting articles:

    Try again please.

Also, as I have said a million times. These are my concerns and I label them as such. I don't pass them off as facts and dismiss any other opinions. You label everything you think as a fact with 0 research.

Try again? I said that's what Clowney said happened, DJ said that's what he told them right when it happened....why would you doubt that other than because it doesn't fit the narrative you want to further?

haha. Wow. You really don't see the difference when you justify your opinions by saying something that is not factually correct? You don't see that "Clowney said" and "Cloweny's teammate said Clowney said" are not the same thing? I give up. You win this one. I can't compete with the facts. (Sarcasm meter explodes in bloody fire)

So your assumption is that DJ was lying about what Clowney said? Unless he was lying, it's a fact that Clowney said that his injury was caused by stepping in a hole on the field. I know it upsets you that your assumptions conflict with reality, but that's not my problem.

There's plenty of useful information here if you weed through the nonsense where people are trying to paint Clowney as an injury prone player in his rookie season.

In the last 13 months Clowney has missed time with:

    1. gastroendonitis
    2. Bone spurs
    3. Concussion
    4. Rib strain
    5. Pulled groin
    6. Torn meniscus

What is gastroendonitis? Never heard of this... Not a doctor, but have a pretty solid medical background...

Stomach flu....really grasping at straws to try and further that narrative.

    Gastroenteritis is the stomach flu.

Gastroendonitis sounds like some conglomeration of the stomach flu causing the abdominal muscles to ache and become chronically sore or something. Basically, sounds like a made up medical term that is Clowney's-made-of-glass people's worst nightmare.

    P.s. sorry I'm being a jerk about a typo.

Well I'm sure that's why they used that term instead of just saying "stomach flu", also for effect we're going with "missed time" so that we can include camp time and practices in order to make the list longer. It's pretty laughable, but hey they've gone all out on selling their narrative, no reason for them to stop now.

Gastroendonitis to explain his poor play early in the season last year and it limited his time on the field.

Also to Bobby, missed games in the pre season for a rookie is a big deal.... The good news is that he only had 2-3 injuries this pre season..... So far we have 3 missed games his last year in college, missed 2-3 preseason games and will have missed 6 of the first 7 games this season most likely.

That is a lot of time. Hopefully he is healthy as a Texan and is a Hall of Famer.

You didn't know?... none of those injuries count except the current one. And the current one doesn't really count either because it was a fluke.

Certainly not as big a deal as some people are trying to make it because they aren't happy with who the Texans picked.

    1. Gastroendonitis is a misspelling for gastroenteritis, and for athletes can cause severe dehydration.
    2. Bone spurs is something he has played with at South Carolina, and had basically used the off season to remove it.
3-5. These supposedly were issues that occurred during the preseason games. If a player who supposedly is a highly valuable player and complains of any of these things, you don't take that risk with him; keep him on the bench.
    6. Freak non contact injury that caused him to tear a small portion of his knee joint.

Sure when you look at the scope of the things he has complained about during the past year as a whole it may scare some folks. This label of "injury prone" however is inaccurate and unfair. Throughout his athletic career, the young man has done his part to stay on the field and produce. Its why he was the #1 prospect from highschool, and the #1 NFL draft pick this year.

Truth be told, if this was the playoffs, I believe Clowney plays with all of these things. Its not, and the season is relatively early. His goal is to get fully healthy and ready to contribute when his number is called. To assess and criticize him on at this juncture of his career is pathetic and irresponsible. Before JJ Watt became the player we know, he was a relatively quiet draft pick who did his job and stepped up when the moment required him during the playoffs. Then he decided to pursue greatness, and he had his monster 2012 season. 2 years later, people around the NFL are putting a career trajectory on Watt as an all time great and on his way to possibly win an MVP.

If Kareem Jackson has become a servicable 2nd cornerback in the NFL, Clowney has a chance to shake off this unfair "injury prone" label. I truly believe that he will.

Dude, name names. Who are you talking about? You should name if you are undercutting their reasoned opinions bc they are bitter.

Also, if Clowney goes down for a different injury later this year, will you admit you were wrong?

How much playing time was missed with each one of these exactly?
