I'm thinking the same thing. I predicted 23-20 Texans earlier in this thread. GW 52 yard FG by Fat Randy.

It could also happen if the Texans get ahead by more than 1 TD, which is very possible given the state of the Cowboys D.

Cowboys were murdered by SF in the first game, then they easily defeated three bad defensive teams after that. We still do not know if they are good or not, but I guess we may be able to score some points on them. If we are leading the game somehow, then real Romo will show up.

I told you that situation rarely occurs. But when it happens, it happens in the Cowboys favor. Of course there are always going to be Texans fans everywhere, but there will never be enough.

    <a href="http://imgur.com/FCHZwfi"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/FCHZwfi.png?1" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /></a>

The last time it happened was in 2012, which isn't "dated" at all considering it was less than TWO seasons ago. And the Texans have regressed since then. The games were on at the same time on the same network.

    Red is Browns @ Cowboys.
    Yellow is Jaguars @ Texans.

I'm sticking with my 95% figure. And that 5% is very generous because Houston is just too damn big and towns like Beaumont, Bryan and Victoria are located on the outskirts of Houston. I have a feeling if the aforementioned weren't affiliated with KHOU they too would also get Cowboys games instead.

Texans went 12-4 that year and the Cowboys sucked as usual. You're not going to the live to see the day where the majority of Texas "comes around" and starts following the Texans.

    Oh, I'm not betting, I never bet, that's a fool's game.

I was just wondering how many of these people proclaiming the Texans will win have actually put any real cash money down anywhere to back up their confidence.

I like both teams frankly, but with the Texans' DB's iffy at best, Arian probably not playing, and thus leaving too much on Fitz's plate.. well, we all saw what happened against the Giants.

And yes, the Saints are not as good as expected this year, but which team do you think is truly better - the Saints or the Texans?

The Cowboys are not world-beaters either by any stretch, but, they have shown steady improvement as the season has progressed, and while I am happy the Texans are at 3-1. I don't think anyone can say the Texans have clearly improved week-to-week.

And so, with the game being IN Dallas, and the Cowboys being on a more upward arc, plus having an outstanding offensive line AND the best rusher in the league by far (so far anyway).. I don't really see as how this turns out as anything other than a Cowboys win by at least ten points.

    It's just the rational conclusion.

That's why I was wondering if any of these guys were actually putting money on the Texans to win, or if they were just... talkin'.

But, you never know what will happen during the games.. who could have predicted the Vikings would throttle Atlanta, or KC would whip The Bradys? Or that The Bucs would beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh? So, they still have to play the games..

    So, we'll see.

But *IF* I was a betting man, my money would be on the Cowboys in this one.

I'm a die-hard cowboys fan. I also root for the Texans. Everyone acts like this is such a heated rivalry, it's really not. I'll be at the game and its going to be fun, with the bragging rights to the victor.

Instead of the relentless ignorant and annoying banter from both sides, how about a wager? I'm willing to take A single bet with someone who is willing. I got the Cowboys to win. With two contingencies.

    1. Loser pays $10 to the tip jar.
    2. Loser has to change there Sig to "(Cowboys or Texans) are better than my beloved team(Cowboys or Texans)"

    Just let me know.

Did Morris get hurt on that last INT to clinch the gsme? Was just getting used to seeing #26 not getting abused for a change.

Lots of guys hurt/out. Hope someone unexpected steps up and has a huge game for the Texans. I'm pretty much down to that.

Have the cowboys and Colts trade divisions. That would be great.

Its Dallas vs Houston. Thats all we need to know. How do people not get that? Forget Texans vs Cowboys, theres always been a Houston vs Dallas thing going on and it doesn't even have to do about sports.
