The Texans logo has the lone star, as well as the rest of the state flag, incorporated into it, essentially. So, yes, that is more representative of the state than a single star. And for the other part, I said its debatable, buy there have been many teams, going back a long way, with the name.
Including the cowboys for that matter. But I don't like how a single city is represting all of Texas with that name. Especially considering 95% of texas outside of Houston follows the cowboys. Look up tv game maps. When cowboys and Texans are playing at the same time with no blackout restrictions (this happens rarely), Texans are showed only in Houston and Galveston. I have nothing against the logo, but I feel more comfortable wearing a T-shirt or cap with a simple star or the vintage info joe than a cartoon logo of a bull.
Well the state is better represented by the Texans than the Cowboys and your 95% figure is dated, San Antonio and Austin are coming around. Soon the entire state outside of DFW will be Texans fans, it's only a matter of time.
10 out of 11 picked the Cowgirls to win in the McClain's Pick'em Challenge. Pancakes has them winning 27-17.
Texans have a punchers' chance, but................oh #### it. Texans win and start the season 4-1. Book it.
You overestimate the Cowboys defense, they aren't any good against the run or against the pass and they have no pass rush to speak of. 4 TD's by the offense could easily happen.
Romo is likely going to throw a couple interceptions after having three good games, then Texans could have a good chance to win the games. Romo sucks this weekend, likely.
The Texans are going to be missing quite a few DB's for this one, Morris, Pleasant, and Bouye are listed as being out.
this offense has scored 3td once their best offensive output was 3 TD and 3 FG against the raiders. couple of those drives stalled on a short field if I recall. our running game? running game looked abyamal last week? frankly Arian 100% is a fine tuned machine but anything less or the blue in substitute that's a steep drop off the Cowboys defense isn't as bad as people make it out to be. they are just very inconsistent. if you were to argue that their defense will take a hit this week because of the injury to Bruce carter then I would agree but it's anything but inept need to contain their running game before trying to think of how the offense will wreck to their defense
this only happens if their run game stalls. no need to go super aggressive paso g when run game eats up clock and controls game. Murray has over 100 and a td in each 4 games
