Answer the question then ask one of your own.
The answer should always be the year or season the event took place.
Try and answer out of knowledge... not just google!

    Question 1
NameTheYear: Moochie Norris leads the Rockets to a triple overtime win against the Indiana Pacers?

    Question 2
NameTheYear: Vernon Maxwell scores 30 points in ONE QUARTER against the Cleveland Cavaliers?

2001 and 91. I'm guessing on the first. Confident on the second.

And I didn't answer out of knowledge... I answered out of educated guessing.

What year did Calvin Murphy put on a hex on the ball right before Mahmoud Abdul Rauf was about to shoot his final free throw of the season? If the shot drops, Rauf breaks Murph's single season free-throw % record. It bricked, against all odds. BTW, does anybody have footage of that. It is one of my all-time favorite Rocket memories.

Great clip but, the ref stopped the game and gave the ball to Murph before the shot. A longer clip would be priceless. Still, great find.

It was the year when a real rap song from a real rap group came out

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-M8GszEN9MM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

We know that vernon was listening to them because he was real like that he was real to the city and the fans

he's not listening to newsboys or michael w smith and making goofy youtube videos

    that year was real

tinman joined the first game of the '99 playoffs vs Lakers.

On another note, the first start date for '99ers due to the 1999 server change was 5 days after the first game of the #33 era. Did #33 crash they server???

Tnx for that info, never knew that. Quite ridiculous though, probably why Rauf missed it since you are taken out of your rhythm to take the FT. That's one of the things I dislike about Calvin's character, he sometimes goes overboad with his ego and thrash talking. He wasn't bad as a commentator at first but by 02-04 when he ended, he was really talking about himself, his suits and going nuts all the time.

    That was his job though.

Good commentator duos always have 1 over the top, funny, random character + A good solid play by play commentator.

I thought that made him and Worrell perfect together.
