We should be able to run on them all day long, they were bad against the run at full strength, with their best run defender out for this game, it should be a field day for Foster and Blue.
He's getting a lot of rest this week, if he's back healthy there's no reason not to play him, but also no reason to risk it if he's still hurt. This game isn't all that important.
earlier today he declared himself a game time decision. i say lets roll with blue & grimes against this sieve-like defense.
Awesome, but he's a backup who was throwing the ball at will on them. The only worth a damn QB they've faced also burned them for 300+ yards and Kap might have as well if it wasn't for his team having a huge lead early and moving the ball so easily on the ground. Are you sure you're not a Cowboys fan? It doesn't really make sense how badly you want to believe that their defense isn't trash.
If the Bills WR didn't drop as many passes as they did. The result could have been different. There were also some predicting the Cowboys would lose to the Saints as well. I don't think it is a huge indictment against the team if the Texans lose to the Cowboys; especially if they come back home and beat the Colts next Thursday.
Bobbythegreat every game is important. Yes I understand its not a division game but you can best believe its important to the players, coaches and organization.
Well sure, in some sense every game is important, but the Cowboys aren't a division rival, aren't even a conference rival, so as far as games go it's relatively unimportant. It's a very winnable game, so it would be great to get the W and make it even more likely that the Texans win their division, but next week's game is MUCH more important.
If our Receivers would have caught everything and if we didn't committ so many silly penalties the outcome of the game could have been the same.
Yes true. Not on the same level as the wide open catches the Bills WR dropped, but you're right. My point is that the game could have gone either way with a couple of things happening differently. It wasn't like a blow-out where the losing team didn't even have a chance to win. I think it is hard to decide how good/bad both teams are because it is early and because of the quality of teams they have played. The Texan's best win is against the Bills and the Cowboy's best win is against the Saints. The Saints haven't been playing like the Saints and the Bills haven't been playing like the Bills.
Neither team really has anything that passes as an impressive win, the Saints are looking just terrible this year and the Bills are just a run defense and nothing more. I think we'll find out a lot more about both teams when they finally get around to playing halfway decent teams later on this season.
