what nobody is doing is giving the buffalo bills d line credit, coming into that game they were known for stuffing opponents running game. suddenly foster sucks? he looked like arian foster during his receptions, sidestepping and stiff arming defenders. Sometimes a good offensive line is going to get overrun by a stout defensive line. It happens and it will happen again.
Can't argue, but Dallas's ability to stop the run is just as bad(Dallas ranks 3rd worse in PFF) This will limit Fitzpatrick's ability to turn the ball over. I think the game is much more winnable than many are giving us credit for.
Yeah, that sounds like the Club area which is SRO for the entire game. Those tix normally sell for $29.
Well that was the reason we were going to get blown out last week remember? The Bills are an elite run stopping team, so we were going to have to rely on Fitz and the Bills had a good run game so there was no way we were beating them... Fast forward to this week and there's another reason Texans fans think their team is going to get blown out. It's just sad.
Also, a fun fact about those singing Murray's praises is that 327 of his 534 total yards so far this season have come before contact....he's a product of that O line manhandling other teams. Now we could look at that and panic, thinking that our D line will be manhandled just like some of the other teams the Cowboys have played (pretty much all terrible teams BTW) or we could realize that we aren't going against a great RB, so if we can force contact near the LOS we have a good chance at slowing down their run game.
i'm not saying they're going to go 15-1 but we can play with anyone. On the teams I feared because of their suffocating D, we're 1-1 with 2 more to go. And out of those 2 teams left, you can ugly the game up by doing the same to their O lines and have a chance at a win, with clowney back by that time..it's very doable. playing the colts at their place, well that's an automatic loss even Dan Orlavsky took us out. we can worry about the broncos and chargers later, both teams improved immensely on D.
No, I'm not wrong. You're just being selective in your argument. I said nothing specific about DAL's run defense. Was speaking about their total defense which numbers are below average (not trash) overall. Stop trying to be slick.
While DAL's defense is bad... our defense versus the run could be just as bad as DAL. Which has made me wonder why teams we have played have gone away from the run when they have played us. Which also could be true for Romo. While I think he is more apt to gamble (esp long) and thus open himself up for a big TO, I also worry that Kareem or DJ will lose their man and get beat long. At no point have I said it isn't winnable. Every game is winnable... some more winnable than others.
30th against the run is trash and we all know they suck against the pass because they have no pass rush. They regularly make scrub QB's look like legends. Sorry, the Cowboys defense is awful.
I guess that's fair, there weren't too many people predicting that the Texans would be blown out, but there were the usual suspects predicting a loss, usually by 7-10 points. What's funny is that the Bills probably beat the Cowboys if they play them.
Their defense is 2oth in passer rating. Descriptions like awful, trash, and horrible are hyperbole. Sorry, you're just emotional.
You're just making excuses for them, a backup scrub QB burned them for over 300 yards and 3 TD's....what would you say about the Texans pass defense if that had happened?
does anybody think alfred blue is ready to break out? dallas presents a perfect opportunity for the rook.
