What is the most recent thing you lied about to your Significant Other?

The hot ass I pick up on the weekends as an Uber driver.

 

She's not quite a 'significant other' yet, but she asked me if I thought one of her friends was cute. Her friend is in fact drop-dead gorgeous. My phone rang before I could answer her and I took the call outside lol.

 

From the beginning of my marriage, I've decided I was not smart enough to lie and get away with it. In fact, I've seen way to many marriages of very smart people destroyed by lies. So I said screw it, I will never lie to my wife. Period.

I'm not saying I'm better than anyone. It's just a radical experiment I took, and it has worked out extremely well so far. Four years into our marriage, I don't remember ever telling a lie to her. We've fought and argued many times, but the trust that exists between us is unshakable. Life is much easier and happier that you know you can totally trust each other.

 

Cheerfully smiled at her concerned, nervous gaze while finishing a plate of the worst omelet au fromage I've ever had the misfortune of ingesting...

Not sure if this counts as a "lie"... but honestly... how the blazes does one mess up a cheese omelet so terribly...?

I don't lie to my wife about anything really. But I did play dumb when she mentioned the celebrity nude leaks a few weeks ago.

Back when I was dating though, I lied all the time. About everything big and small. I would often think, "Why am I even lying about that?" I was just a crappy guy for a while I guess.

 

My GF found a condom rapper on my bedroom floor, proceeded to check the trash and saw a condom with my manhood. I was dead meat at that point.

Told her I had extra condoms and since we don't use condoms anyway, I proceeded to just play with myself with a condom on

 

Lie, nothing I can think of? Not sharing information - a few things, but nothing serious.

 

I don't really lie to my wife. I suppose the closest to lying is that I will not always volunteer information unless asked. My wife does not know that I have nearly 33% of my actual total income funneled into a seperate retirement account. If she asked, I would tell her. I know if she knew that she would just give it away to charities. She already gives thousands a year to charities. Retirement is a serious concern of mine.

For the most part I just tell my wife what I will do and she has no complaints as long as I am respectful and extend her the same courtesy.

 

Yeah I got caught with that. Some files said error on the download but she managed to open them up and accused me of dating Kate upton. I said I yeah, you are lucky.
