I was thinking about this yesterday. Though I don't believe the Pelicans make it in, IMO I honestly believe the Blazers will fall out off the playoff picture this year. If you think about how their season went, you'll see that everything came together extraordinarily well for them the 1st half of the season. (EXETREMELY GOOD HEALTH, GREAT 3pt shooting, Career season from Aldridge, and they won a TON of close games!) The second half they flattered quite a bit. They didn't get much better this season and the law of averages say that they won't have the kind of production and luck they had last season. I think Pho. will take their spot in the top 8.
