It was never funny...Its really frustrating going through the thread pages and seeing a complete pages of "Chico".smh
The "mutual agreement" part sounds like old news. Again, the Suns just signed his brother and Goran paid part of his buyout. In all liklihood, Goran isn't going anywhere. Of course I could be wrong, but it feels like we are sitting tight. We need a motivated seller, and there doesn't appear to be one right now. The next "pinch point" is extensions for rookie contract players. Cyberx mentioned this. List includes Rubio, Klay Thompson, Kenneth Faried, Reggie Jackson, Enes Kanter, etc. It's interesting that the only one of the above that Cyberx has mentioned is Faried.
That's why a good agent would tell Goran that when asked publicly, just don't comment about it. Lots can change in one year, and Goran needs to be able to hit free agency with his arms wide open to receive meetings from everyone. But do Goran and the Suns mgmt talk?... Yeah of course they do. Goran just is that kind of guy. By all accounts I've heard, the guy just has a great working relationship with everyone in the organization and is very kind. But at the end of the day its a business for them so it should be for him as well. Just because there is a "chance" he could leave, doesn't mean they automatically are open to trading him. Right now, he's the best chance they have at getting an All-Star this year which, while it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, means a hell of alot to the organization from a business and marketing perspective. Its a HUGE deal for a team that is desperate for a star right now. Also they know they can offer him more money than anyone else in free agency next Summer. Trust me, it's almost certain..... he's NOT getting traded. Even if they stink it up the first half the year, I still have to think the "Shot" of retaining him this Summer (which they will get) is enough to hold onto him in February in order to show Goran progress in the late part of the season that convinces him to stay in town when free agency comes.
Paging AQS18. We need you to bring King Drew back. Or at least get the scoop on Twitter and let us know what soon ends up being.
this is clutchfans..We talk ****!..Its what we do..But at the end of the day we are all still apart the rockets family. stop running away whenever adversity reveals itself.
we all know rockets have something up their sleeve. Your track record was good until this unfortunate summer. If you're going to leave your opinions that's fine but please disclose the statement with "my opinon". Cheers
Get over yourself. Nobody cares that you're leaving, you aren't Batman/don't have a legit source. The fact that you constantly retweet ASQs tweets show how reliable you are.
Stop with all this crap, pleaseeee! "Soon", "happy times", "countdown"... None of this happened! Come on, try to be serious!
Davis has the injury bug, 64 and 67 games thus far. He's a great player, but if he gets injured, that pick suddenly becomes much more valuable. A team could be willing to take that risk that Davis will be injured yet again. I imagine that that is how Morey is valuing the pick currently. Betting that the Pelicans are one injury away from that being a stellar pick.
