Sure, KD is from H-town and wants to ditto LBJ by going home again. Baltimore/DC? Just a silly rumor of his roots...
I have no idea what this means. Goran will verbally agree to re-sign with the Suns because Rockets are going to sign Durant? Or Goran will force a trade to Houston (and re-sign with Houston for a "fair" price) because Durant will come to Houston in 2016? Either way, your phony is showing.
Durant isn't going to leave OKC because they can't win a title and go to a team that has basically no chance of winning a title.
PLOWMAN has left the building. Don't think we can make a Rondo trade work without GreekPAPA or Terry.
I have a strong feeling that Bledsoe will be here come Christmas time. He makes more sense than anyone else mentioned.
I come to this thread for chico updates, and I have to wade through a bunch of crap about Plowman and drew and sneering comments from cyberx and batman jones having ebola. Thanks for ruining it guys.
If Bledsoe is preforming well while being signed to a five year contract, his value goes up exponentially and rockets won't be able to afford him. He's one of the best two way guards in the league, and if the suns will be looking for a trade, they'll be looking for something special.
You guys are soooooo hysterical. No one told me KD is coming to Houston, i was just told that Rockets have something up there sleeve. And that GD and Houston have to come to a mutual agreement of some sort. Something about a verbal contract extension. Im guessing hell opt out and re sign
Hey, if KD and Dragic came here with Howard and Harden, Clutchfans will go bonkers. You did imply, that Dragic might come to an agreement with Houston that could lead to us having a chance at getting KD.
Contract extension, and opting out with the thought of eventually resigning in free agency are completely different things. You are teetering badly on this one. You should just admit that you were given or concluded bad information about being able to extend his current contract. You are making yourself look much much worse. If you are saying that Goran is having conversations already with Phoenix officials about his next contract... well yeah of course. They have mutual interest obviously (which goes against you and Plow's theory of "we are getting one of Bled or Dragic), but under no circumstance would any agent on this planet NOT prioritize being an UN-Restricted free agent next Summer to ensure his contract meets market value. Pretty much every team will cap space will make a run at Goran next Summer, and Phoenix will be forced to be competitive with other offers. The idea that Goran and Phoenix are already settling in on a number now is ludicrous. ............ As for the Rockets "having something up their sleeve"... Morey himself has openly stated before that the Rockets have before had over ONE HUNDRED contingencies just to ONE trade situation they were looking at one Summer. The Rockets front office works in variations of contingencies starting from best case scenario (like Lebron or KD acquisitions) to contingencies lower down on the list. Most of these contingencies never play out, but its part of their sales funnel that they farm and cultivate. Saying "The Rockets have something up their sleeve" is like saying I think I might eat today. However what I am going to eat is going to have alot more to do with what is available to me at the time.
If that's the case..it is illegal and the nba has the power to veto a trade between because we aren't allowed to negiotiate with players under contract with other teams of course. It's kind of hard to believe you on this one. But I'm holding out hope that you are right.
Kill it with fire. You guys are so desperate for something to happen have been since July. It's October wake up. Chico>>>>>>every insider on this board.
It isn't hard to imagine a scenario where the Suns are under performing next year, look at the fact that they have 3 solid PGs (two of which command or will command a lot of money) and one PG in development, look at GD's upcoming player option (compared to the investment they just made in EB), and decide to make a move. I have no doubt that scenario is circled and underlined in Morey's master plan. And if that happens, the whole "GD is willing to re-sign" narrative is going to be a factor. The team that gets him will know that he's going to opt out and will likely not want to give up much unless they know he's going to resign with them. It's not going to be a vague "GD will resign here if the money is fair" thing.
This could have been contingent on a GD trade which seems like a looongshot. These are the days of RUBIO or RONDO.
