It is truly a mystery how Holder didn't lose his job much sooner. Enough with the incompetence in important roles, Obama (who of course is so pathetically incompetent himself and has no place being president).
Jokes on you, Holder will serve until a replacement is selected and approved by Congress; so he might still be serving for President Clinton.
Good point. It is all up to the "party of no" how long Holder continues as AG. Obama and Holder, always a step ahead of the wingnuts...
Great, just balance that against 230-plus years and fifty states' AG offices worth of non-flooredness and the possible existence of experienced minority and female attorneys or law enforcement executives.
Not a chance, she's too polarizing of a candidate and too large a percentage of the population strongly dislikes her. Sure a certain percentage of the Democrat base would support her, but it would be doomed to fail. It would be similar to the Republicans running Rush Limbaugh for president.
Agree wholeheartedly!!! I would rep you but I get the message " You must spread some reputation around before giving it to bigtexxx again "
not rly. i'm all for legalization of mar1juana, but its not even in my top 100 most important issues. So many more important issues that affect people more than a few not being able to get their fix.
Dude, you do live in an FAUX echo chamber. I am not a big Hillary fan because she is too entrenched in the game of politics and not committed to progressive (or any) ideology. But to doubt her popularity is just GOP blindness, she draws huge crowds of adoring fans wherever she goes. She will control the Center, raise corporate money like Mr. Obama couldn't dream of and draw votes from women because she is a woman. She can boast qualifications and experience no regional candidate can touch. She will out chickenhawk the chickenhawks, defend corporatism more than any Koch candidate, out package any Madison avenue consultant, cozy up to K street where they will love her and has only the smallest chance of gaffing. Put that up against anybody the GOP can muster, anybody. Especially with their tendency to eat their own moderates like Jeb Bush. It's going to be a decisive victory. And remember, the GOP doesn't really want the Presidency. They are happy with the status quo and gridlock and need a polarizing Executive to run their local candidates against. Laissez les bons temps rouler! All the rich are getting richer.
Sure she has a fanbase, but that's not the point, Limbaugh draws crowds of fans too and he wouldn't have a chance in hell of winning an election either. The point is that she is a polarizing figure that a relatively large percentage of the population has strong negative feelings about compared to the percentage of the population that has strong positive feelings about. Once again Hillary won't even win the nomination of her party because they know in a national election, she can't win.
I never say never or anything absolutely, but I'm fairly certain you will be proven wrong. What Democrat is even on the horizon like Mr. Obama was in 2007? What Republican... hell that doesn't even need finishing.
That's fair, anything is possible I suppose, but it is VERY unlikely that someone as polarizing as Hillary could win a national election. I guess it could happen though if the Republicans nominate another candidate like Romney though.
How about if the GOP nominates Romney AGAIN? The GOP refuses to learn from history or past mistakes. And comparing Hilary to Rush Limbaugh is a freaking joke. Hilary won a senate seat. Rush couldn't win anything except a pain-killer eating contest.
I compared them in that they are both polarizing figures that people have strong opinions about, and you're only fooling yourself if you don't think that he couldn't win a senate seat in a strong Republican state.
You compared a first lady/senator/secretary of defense with a drug abusing clown. You are the one fooling yourself.
