I'm getting frustrated as i want to see/hear Jason Terry at media day. Any links to his comments ? He's got me jazzed up I tell ya !
Aside from the nerves Jones was clearly showing, I was the most impressed with him. I really like that kid and hope he's a Rocket for years to come and can continue to develop. Whilst I'm a huge fan of Howard, I expected more from his interview. The comments about each individual improving - I was wanting to hear things like the team bonding or the team making a promise after last years final exit or something like that.
My favorite one was Joey Dorsey. Listening to him speak about the NBA game it's awesomely obvious that he decided to study the game and learn lessons from veterans. Loved how he mentioned that he learned from Battier and Hayes to scout opponents a week in advance, and he started doing that in Europe. Feel much better about our depth at C knowing the guy understands the game.
I feel like Bev is going to elbow Parsons this season. I think his attitude is going to be more infectious with Ariza on the team and a renewed defensive focus.
I was very impressed by Terry too, as wrong as that feels to say. I honestly think his leadership/confidence will help us a lot
Yep, we need someone with championship experience to lead our guys when times get tough. Terry had a lot to do with dallas winning that ring, i'm sure he has a lot of wisdom to impart on guys like james, bev and out young guards.
