49ers fans were very upset to see him go. Said he was raw but had a ton of potential.

Probably. However, there will never be a more important player in Houston sports history.

I was wondering what he did to get flagged because I never saw it

The is the biggest difference in this game. JJ Mega Paid Watt getting it done.

Lol, JJ says he got flagged because he guess he hits too hard.

    Observations:

Watt is really, really good. Without him it is very possible that the Texan's defense would not stop anyone, anywhere, ever. Sometimes it seems like he is only one out there. In all fairness, Pickett played a decent game, and I continue to be impressed with the improvement in the secondary. But, could we hold opposing runners under what seems like ten yards a pop?

Where would we be without "Fat Randy?" Two fifty yard FG's, now that is some serious kicking.

Fitzpatrick is a "gamer." I like his gutsy runs, and his occasional "normal" passes. But, yes, he is a loose cannon. Will he score or blow up your team effort with turnovers? Nobody knows.

Mallet wants to get in the game so bad he tried to injure the starting QB with a goofy sideline celebration.

What exactly happened to our running game? Do we have a running game? Why can't our fat guys block any of their fat guys?

Who exactly is our offensive coordinator because they need to start coordinating, and if they come up with any ideas tell them to the defensive coordinator because he appears to need help too.

I am frankly amazed that the Houston Texans are 3-1. What would their record be if they could actually run, pass, block and tackle?

I thought those calls were b.s. They called two on him back in 2011 against our old back up orvlosky. that said, if he was flagged on those 2 today, why didn't the refs call it at the start of the 4th when watt brought down E.J by the ankles. refs always seem inconsistent.

the only time you post it's about fitz... you have some sort of axe to grind with him and it's painfully obvious. dude is a stop-gap QB for us - no one here is expecting him to be aaron foster so quit beating us over the head with your incesstant b!tching. he's played like an average qb for us so far - some good plays some bad - bc that's exactly what he is.

    get the f*** over it.

People wanting to bench the qb that has us at 3-1 in favor of a totally unknown is pretty damn funny .

Fitz really was fine today. He had a few bad throws but I don't really blame either of the interceptions on him (the bad throws were on quick timing routes).

The first pick was 6'4 Nuk against 5'10 McKelvin.

It's like we are watching the 2nd coming of Hakeem in football form.

Blue averaged one yard per carry on nine tries; Foster did worse at .08 yards per carry. Now that is what I call no running game.

Mallett may be good or he may be bad, but he is better than Fitzpatrick.

I agree, Hakeem will always have a special place because he brought the city its first major championship. Football will always be king here though so that's why Watt would probably supplant Hakeem if he wins Super Bowl with Texans.

Watt will never be better than Hakeem but because of NFL popularity he will be more popular.

Well, at least you have finally stated your opinion on Fitzpatrick.

BOB gave credit to the defense. Said O can't keep playing like they have/need to play better.
I'm sure he's on it. I expect things to change starting with the next game.
