It's not a great game. It's not a bad game. I think it's what we expect out of Fitz. He has good completion percentage today and good YPA. One INT was a deep tossup where the DB made a great play. His second INT was a tipped ball at the LOS. A lot of times, Fitz has had to scramble due to poor pass protection. He's made some plays and missed others. Plus, we're having to do more passing than we'd like due to no running game. Again, in my opinion, Fitz is playing an average game.
Well you responded to my post that was disagreeing with the poster who said he was having a good game.
But do you understand that there are variables involved with interceptions? Having a tip pass intercepted doesnt mean he's having a bad game. It means he got unlucky. It's different than making a poor read and throwing it to the defender.
If Watt can somehow win a championship with the Texans, he will supplant Olajuwon as most popular athlete ever in this town. He is a generational type player.
There are about 31 teams every week in the NFL that could have done a better job of getting first downs "when it matters".
Two interceptions that weren't totally on him. That happens. Deal with it. He's the only source of offense. He's dealing with it. I'll continue to think you're being sarcastic. Fitz is playing just fine. I'd even say he's having a good game. In fact, he's having a great season, aside from the first half against the Giants when his line couldn't protect him and is defense couldn't stop anything.
Not really... Kube's offenses were usually elite. This offense is sort of like the defense... "bend/don't break". They're capable of some nice drives, some big plays, but they also put up some duds. Meanwhile, Kubiak coaches up another mediocre offense back to an elite level... his system still has a place in the NFL, his time had just run its course here.
And this running attack is putting the offense in terrible positions. We are going nowhere with that.
Every 1st down matters in the game, especially when field position matters. If you're talking about when drives stall, a lot of that is due to our O-line having dumb penalties and our O-line failing in pass protection. Our O-line has failed a lot this season. In this game alone, too many false starts in short yardage. Brown was blocking downfield prior to a pass.
