The multitalented J.J. Watt now has 38.5 sacks, one receiving TD and a pick-six in his first four seasons.
I'm indifferent to Fitz, but I won't call this a subpar game. When he's had time, he's completed the throws he's needed to complete... he's also been asked to pass a ton thanks to zero running game. And yes, he has one TD... one huge TD... and its a one TD game right now.
Well, he's had no help in the running game...he's completed 19 of 25 passes for 231 yards. Two crappy INTs...but those could have gone either way. Not an amazing game...but he's been good. If you want subpar, I can list a bunch of QBs today that played worse.
I think his run on 3rd down was impressive and the one interception was only partially his fault but to say he has had a "good" game isn't accurate.
I hope you're being sarcastic. I think I will take all of your Texans takes to be sarcastic from now on. They make more sense that way, most of the time. He's been fine. The ints were not his fault. Otherwise, he's been great.
I never said "good"... just not sub-par. If there were any such thing as a "par" game, this would be it. If there was a WAR for football, he would still likely be positive, not negative.
2interceptions. Can't get first downs. Can't get touchdowns. No I'm not being sarcastic. Deal with it
Fitz has completed 73% of his passes with a YPA near 9. That's good. It's really as simple as that. His two interceptions have sucked and been untimely, but it's not like he made terrible throws. Oh, and we are winning.
