I've read numerous independent blogs about this senseless act of violence and this fellow appears to be a hidden operative of the Mossad. Seems like the perfect false flag operation.
When will we drop the charade that Islam is a religion of peace? Not to say that there are not peaceful Muslims in this world but a religion of "peace" does not cause this many people to commit such terrible acts. I suret looks like the peaceful Muslims are the ones who are not following true Islam.
Leaning towards it being all religions. Fifty years ago it was white protestants that behead some Blacks and would say that God put a curse on Cain's descendants, making them Black so therefore all Blacks were murderers. Good thing those thoughts are at least dying out as many of those older people die, but it is still there.
Most inner city crime is perpetrated by those of the Christian faith. An event like this in Oklahoma is so random and rare, but you hear of people getting robbed and shot every day even here in Houston. Most of these people are church going Christians with Jesus tattoos saying "Only God can judge me".
Maybe we can stop branding religions so as to boost our own fragile self esteem about our particularly zealously chosen spiritual path.
I assure you I have no fragile self esteem when it comes to religion. I have been thoroughly washed in the blood of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. My many sins in life have been forgiven and I know where I will be eternally (thank you Lord for saving a wretch like me!!!)! Can you say the same????? Where will you spend eternity????

How do you know that you're following the right religion? What if Islam actually is the true religion? Or Judaism? Or Buddhism? That's right, you don't know.
Just can't stand "Christians" like this. Conveniently forgetting all the things Christianity has done in the past and continues to still do, yet want to condemn other religions. I think only Buddhists or Rastafarians have it right tbh.
Only after we drop the charade that anyone, especially a human being like you, actually knows what true Islam is, who's a 'fake' Muslim, or what it stands for. And the 'peace' label that most of you scorn about Islam has little do with the idea of peace as most Americans would understand it. The peace of Islam is the moment of clarity and calm one feels after intellectually, emotionally, and physically struggling with a grand idea beyond the 'normal' thoughts of a simple human i.e. Einstein's struggles with Maxwell's work and his visit to Michele Besso that lead to the epiphany of "principle equivalence". It's not a simple eureka moment, but an awakening of the soul and spirit. I've seen and heard enough in conservative media about Islam peace jokes to realize most of you misunderstand the word and the religion itself. Any religion can be twisted according to the agenda of the interpreter. With Islam, it goes further because the majority of the translations of the Quran and the Hadiths themselves are very old, 'traditional', patriarchal/sexist/violent, and they instill in their interpreters a sense that no one can question or re-translate the source. There's a chance those translations are accurate. However, I think they're wrong. Some of the people back in Pakistan automatically link the idea of "real Americans" as southerners, gun-toting, pickup truck driving, GWB-loving, loud and crass people. That only describes certain Americans. I wouldn't say those qualities are how we define a 'true' American. They'd disagree; that's all I see on the TV, radio, and newspapers about Americans so it must be true. That's lazy thinking. I wouldn't say angry, bearded, knife-wielding, sexist, and misogynist men are how I'd define 'true' Islam. Unfortunately, that describes some of them, but the reasons why they're that way are for some of the aforementioned factors. You can consume the McDonald's version of information from the media (easy to digest, simple talking points, HD picture of gorgeous news anchors), or you can delve into the topic deeper yourself (cursory Google searches to top-level Islamic translations don't count) and see it's not entirely how most think it is.
Sorry but the truth of Islam is written in it's teachings. It is not hard to find. Look for yourself!
I think the point which completely went over your head was that he would have killed more innocent people before being taken down if he brought a gun instead of a knife.
