there's nothing about rubio that's shown that hes a winning player or that hes trying to win. kemba atleast has some of that on his resume. most people that overrate rubio are the ones that dont understand the game and how to win.

I actually like this idea. We need another playmaker to take the pressure off of Harden, and I think Jackson could be that guy. Perkins's corpse could be somewhat useful backing up Dwight. Hopefully taking on Perkins would lower the price tag enough to make this worthwhile.

Are you of the opinion that if Minnesota trades Rubio for Kemba tomorrow, they'll make the playoffs and Hornets will miss the playoffs?

kemba is better than rubio is the topic here but to answer your question, i could argue that the hornets with that team last season just might because kemba is their best scoring guard. replace him with rubio, charlotte becomes an al jefferson one man team to take on the scoring load.

No. The topic is that you believe Kemba is a winner and Rubio is a loser. So if that's the case, wouldn't Kemba be able to win in Minnesota and Rubio would certainly lose in Charlotte?

Are you referring to Kemba Walker's NCAA Championship?

Kudos to him, but it's a big step from there to the NBA, and if the 2013-14 TWolves and Hornets (Bobcats) had swapped rosters, Kemba and Al Jefferson would have been in the same shoes as Kevin Love and Rubio had been: on the outside of the WC playoff teams. And Rubio and KLove would have probably been on an EC team seeded 4th or 5th.

Both point guards have their flaws. At least Rubio can rack up the assists and steals.

Their respective teams have the dilemma of how much to pay them. Bledsoe's recent overpay will prod both players to say, "He makes $14 million a year and you're offering me WHAT?"

No we don't wanna debate everything. If you think we're trying to debate everything, you gotta have some facts to back that up.

Here's hoping that one of the extension deals that goes bad is McHale's coaching contract.

yes obviously there's a big difference bw the NCAA and NBA. Charlotte went from a 7 win team in Kemba's first season to 43 wins this past. the swapping statement could easily be argued as none of these players are similar respectively. rubio can rack up assists and steals but that obviously hasn't been contributing to winning seasons.

Just a name that popped up during this Summer of Delusion. I don't see either Rubio or Rondo coming here. Morey has just enough assets for one final Big Deal, and it's clear that he'd rather be patient (and endure another first round exit) than to sign a lesser star.

Rubio is an option to trade for with our assets and then sign a 4th max free agent while we are holding his contract talks off.

Right. Let's get some facts so we can debate whether we want to debate everything.

Rubio can actually play; but DF will demand he be pay-- and therein is the rub.
