Rondo makes about 13 million. We'd have to send out about 9.5 million. We have to wait to add JT in a trade, unless we find a 3-team deal that includes a team under the cap.

Or wait til December 15, which we would anyway, and we'd have all sorts of options to add....Papanikolau, these 2nd-raters we just signed...

I don't think Jackson is a possibility. I'm pretty sure Presti has deleted Morey's number from his phone.

 

We need to upgrade the 4. But we haven't heard much about that all offseason?

There is clearly not gonna be any significant moves before the season start.
Alota ifs, but if we play well, Indiana plays poorly, and as does New Orleans, I don't see why David West wouldn't be attainable mid way thru the season without having to give up much more than that pick and maybe a young player. Same for Rondo I guess, but he's a little trickier because of his injury and Boston maybe wanting more for him.

If our lineup is Bev / Harden / Ariza / Jones / Howard and we can add west or rondo on top of that, I'd be pretty content. We'd need kosta or one of our bench guards to also play well but we can still be top 4

Teague has 3 more years @ $8million. I don't think he's a great upgrade of what we have. He was being shopped heavily at the deadline last year.
