The injury was a result of a fall at his home last night. The surgery was performed by Dr. Hervey Kimball and Celtics Team Physician Dr. Brian McKeon. Estimated timetable for return is six to eight weeks. Rondo, a 6’1” guard, appeared in 30 contests (all starts) for the Celtics last season and averaged 11.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.33 steals in 33.3 minutes per game. He recorded a season-high 22 points against Atlanta on February 26, a season-high 11 rebounds against Philadelphia on April 4. On March 9 against Detroit, Rondo recorded 18 assists and zero turnovers, passing Bill Russell for fifth highest assist total in Celtic franchise history. Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge, Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens and Rondo will be available to media at Celtics Media Day at the Celtics Training Center at Healthpoint in Waltham on Monday September 29 at 2pm.[/rQUOTEr]
The answer is NO - cyberx isn't the only one who knows the answer to that. No way Presti takes another chance on a James Harden part 2. Of course, Reggie Jackson wasn't on Harden's level, but he is still a solid player with a lot of potential. He single handedly prevented OKC from being on the brink of elimination against the Grizzlies in the playoffs - I believe it was Game 5.
As long as he didn't incur the injury striking an animate object. NBA does not need the media attention that the NFL is getting right now regarding domestic abuse.
My thoughts exactly. You do have to wonder how they got the medical team to buy into the (fake) injury/surgery
