Yes. Other than colors they don't look similar to me. I don't like these. I don't like the v-neck on these. The yellow is too thick on top. I wish the waist band was white or yellow instead of being plain red. Don't like the font either. The shoulders look plain. It looks like if you put on this jersey it'll probably make you look fat. Not even really a fan of red and gold, honestly. I prefer red and silver. But good work on the jerseys to whoever made them. I'm sure a lot of clutchfans members love them. I'm just one person.
Well that's why I was asking. If you weren't a fan of the colors before then it's not surprising you wouldn't like these. and as far as the neck and waistband, the old styles that you seem to prefer are outdated. Although some teams have brought it back like the Knicks and Cavs.
I like it (especially the white numbers) but think I still prefer the current alternates more. I can't put my finger on it but this design is missing something. I am an old guy but I really like the red and silver color scheme (just not the current design) although I do have fond memories of the rocket red & desert gold.
^^ definitely...i'm not sure about the silver trim around the sleeve hole though, might be better without it, but they look great. Would a colored waistband make it better or worse?
Worse imo. Thick, colored waistband is traditional. Would be out of place on a non-traditional uniform like that one.
What about moving the logo on the rear neckline to the waistband? i guess the back of the jersey just looks more busy to me than the back of the shorts.

Like that logo button on waistband of the shorts. Very sharp. Would go with any of Project 34's designs, especially the Red & Silver and the cartoon homage (can't believe I'm saying that). But as much as I like the overall design from Project 34, the throw back jersey that appeals to me the most is from the guy who placed a rocket logo in front of "Houston". Love that it mimics the championship jerseys while modernizing at the same time. Small tweaks (all white numbering and letters, rocket logo, etc.) but very effective. Like it better than current alternates. Although would be nice to see what shorts would look like too.
Instead of moving it (really like it on the rear neckline), just replicate it on the front waistband. Maybe a secondary logo, circular would be best.
Well, the NBA moved the NBA logo from the front of the jersey to the back. So that neckline Rockets logo would have to go away anyway in favor of the NBA logo.
though i hope we get new jerseys soon and there have been a lot of great options posted, i definitely don't see them changing the main logo anytime soon especially with all the money that was put in to using it recently such as the locker room, theater room, and especially the huge light up logos in front of the locker room and in the players lounge
