Parsons might make an all-star team with only Durant and Leonard being the clearly better options in the west, but he will never make an all-NBA team. He's in the Batum/Hayward/Gay group.
only way parsons makes an all star team is by injury replacement or voted in by the coach's...hes not getting in before KD, aldridge, griffin, AD, DH at the front court position, which is the format now.
yes he is, wonder why he is not posting here yet <blockquoteclass="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>my insider source is DM. It's a very small factor in regards to Rubio staying or going. Look around the league, more and more teams are following the Spurs example and hiring a shooting coach. (Frankly, I don't know why we haven't hired one here because guys like DMO and Terrence SURE COULD USE ONE.) The team hires a shooting coach for the team, not just for one player. Rubio's name is in the news on that account because of the focus and attention to the deficits in his game and his and his agent's desire to sign the nice big fat 5-year max extension with max raises. But the truth of the matter is Minnesota was one of the WORST 3-point shooting teams in the league last season sans Rubio and his few 3-point attempts. Just going through their roster here's the LIFETIME 3-point shooting percentage of some of their players who will most likely be in the rotation for them this year: Corey Brewer - 29.5% JJ Barea - 34.7% Thaddeus Young - 32.1% Anthony Bennett - 24.5% Ricky Rubio - 32.3% and then they have other youngsters like Lavine, Wiggins, Shabazz, etc. that all need help with their shooting. The main factor regarding Rubio staying in Minnesota is the contract. Rubio/Fegan were basically promised the 5-year max extension by Kahn. At some point in the next few weeks if they can't come to an agreement you will likely hear Fegan start barking about that. And if it continues Fegan will start honking that Rubio's going to take the QO next summer and walk away from Minny in 2016 without looking back . He does have leverage there and he can force Minny into a corner. I have a funny feeling that they aren't in the mood for another season of Rubio drama coming on the heels of the Love situation. So...there is the possibility that Morey can take advantage of that situation. But it has to be a deal that makes sense to Minny. Can't just throw trash at them to rid them of Rubio. They'd be better off not taking a trash deal and letting the Rubio situation simmer out for 2 seasons to see if they could come to a different resolution. But.....if Fegan throws a fit and it becomes very obtuse for Minny....I think they'll move Rubio for a good deal that helps them shed Kevin Martin mainly and gets them back a couple nice assets and perhaps a pick.

He isn't a fan of Dan Fegan after the whole Parsons deal.
Ariza's experience in Washington matured him a lot Cyberx. Ariza stated that he became a leader to the young fellas on that team. (paraphrasing). So I believe he play his heart out whether it's a contract year or not.
Under the Coaching staff here in Houston Parsons offensive game improved each year. Time will tell though if he continues to get better under a new supposedly better coaching staff.
Dallas coaching staff > Our coaching staff. Its sad but true IMO Carlisle has won a championship while McHale hasn't even gotten us out of the first round. Granted they've had more time over there I believe but Carlisle has proven to be a good coach around the league while McHale has proven to be mediocre
I thought it was Fred Hoiberg, who is good friends with McHale, that put in a good word for Royce. My understanding was that the rest of the FO had huge concerns with Royce. Either way, don't listen to Fred Hoiberg if he tells you it's just crack. Chances are, it's Ashy Larry.
