Harden does tend to get lost when playing the zone. Hopefully, we won't be playing much or any zone this year. Either way, he does need to dedicate himself to good habits next year. It will make a big difference if he does. That being said, what an outstanding player and we are extremely lucky to have him on this team.
There are better ways to play defense when you are trying to make sure you don't get called for a foul. Yes, he did great not reaching in. But, he should have stayed with the man behind him a little better.
Harden is going to have brain farts like this one. He played very good defense for team USA and he still seemed to have one play like this a game, I'm more than willing to accept that one play if he is locked in the rest of the time.
